Krauthammer To Muslim Protestors In Egypt: “Go To Hell”
Tammy Bruce Live Wire ^ | September 11, 2012 | Tammy Bruce

Posted on 09/12/2012 6:17:07 AM PDT by el_texicano

Via Daily Caller:

“That statement is an embarrassment. That is a hostage statement. That’s a mob of al-Qaeda sympathizers in Egypt, forcing the United States make a statement essentially of apology, on 9/11 of all days, for something we’re not responsible. I would issue a statement saying to the mob, ‘go to hell.’

The way America works, the way democracy works is that everybody has a right to express themselves. We don’t police our speech. And you ought to apologize to the United States for storming the embassy and the violation of the ultimate sacred principle of democracy, which is protecting embassies and missions abroad.

For the U.S. to essentially issue a veiled apology, I think is disgraceful.”

American Embassies are AMERICAN SOIL.

___

Only they aren't.

"An embassy is always located in the capital city of a foreign nation. U.S. embassies abroad, as well as foreign embassies in the United States, have a special status. While an embassy remains the territory of the host state, under international rules representatives of the host country may not enter an embassy without permission—even to put out a fire.

Because an embassy represents a sovereign state, any attack on an embassy is considered an attack on the country it represents."

http://diplomacy.state.gov/discoverdiplomacy/diplomacy101/places/170537.htm

That said, this is cold-blooded murder and our Marines on site must be allowed to defend our interests, with appropriate warnings given to all and sundry that unauthorized contact on any embassy grounds will be greeted with orders to shoot on sight.

Meanwhile, the travel group Abercrombie & Kent is giving 50% discounts of their tours to Egypt. At least when I looked last week. Might be 75% off by now!

I visited Egypt in February... glad I got there before the place went to Hell. The tour company I went with had only one more tour after mine; the rest of the scheduled tours were cancelled. My group only had 15 people, and we shared the boat with a group of 14 Brits. 29 of us on a boat that holds 175.

Krauthammer is correct 99% of the time. But he gets excoriated here for that 1%. And no one calls out Obama better than him.

Frankly I cannot blame Mr. Krauthammer for what he has said.

omg - that is ridiculous. The sets, the acting and make-up is terrible. It almost appears to be slapstick comedy. (Is it?) If they took this serious, they have mental issues. (And we already know they do.)

It’s not so much that the protesters are going to hell, its just that they want to drag us down with them.

Bingo. That’s what I have said many times. He has cultural bonds with muslims but he is a secular marxist. He will grovel for their support though. He thinks he is being a good liberal by trying to “understand” them.

Unlike Charles Krauthammer who believes we should be arming the Syrian rebels, John Bolton says that’s a bad idea:

But I would have to say it doesn’t strike me as immediately obvious what we can do if anything to aid the opposition. I think there are grave risks for the US in arming people whose backgrounds we’re not real aware of. The administration says it is now vetting opposition leaders to see who it can trust… But nonetheless it’s important that we not be arming people that might commit their own atrocities.

“Soon after news of Ambassador Stevens’ death broke, Afghan President Hamid Karzai condemned the “inhuman and abusive act” of the filmmakers, which he said, “has caused enmity and confrontation between the religions and cultures of the world,” according to the Wall Street Journal. “

From a Drudge article on this subject.

Nearly ten years, thousands of dead Americans and millions of American dollars and we get THIS????????

Both Bush II and Obama are idiots and their foreign policies vis-a-vis Islam were and are, in direct opposition to America’s best interests.

Pull our embassy out of Egypt and treat them as a terrorist nation!!!

And not another penny in "foreign aid".

There’s a big difference. Embassies are not sovereign territory. It’s a common mistake to say they are.

If Romney said what you suggest he’d be laughed out of the room by anyone with knowledge of diplomatic protocol and rightly so.

But I agree with you. People storming embassies are attacking that nation and should be dealt with accordingly.

Yup Bush was definitely a fool, however Obama could be not what he appears to be. He certainly does all he can to advance the interests of Islam regardless of the cost to the USA.

Bush II was a fool. Obama is a guy who is doing exactly what he set out to do, a la “2016” eviscerating the military power and foreign policy influence of a “colonial power”, i.e. America.

Obama is not a President. He is a public enemy sitting in the Oval Office, placed there by the incompetence of his predecessor, the stupidity of his political adversary in the 2008 election, the collaboration of the Marxist Media, and the naivety of the American voting public.

Obama’s crony capitalist supporters hoping to get the inside track now that the “Arab Spring” has created such an enticing investment climate? LOL!

I was so proud watching Charles last night. HE and those like him make me proud of my country.

Meanwhile, Juan Williams was spouting his usual muslim-butt-wiping whining that Americans should be more considerate of muslim sensitivity.

Correct me if I'm wrong but IIRC, Krauthammer is extremely antigun / anti Second Amendment. If he expounds on those topics, you bet I'm going to EXCORIATE him like HELL!
