Call your GOP friends and make sure they vote this November

Posted on 09/13/2012 5:59:17 PM PDT by Jaguarmike

The pollsters are betting that a significantly higher number of Democrats than Republicans will turn out in November. The latest NBC/WSJ poll for Ohio, for example, assumes a D+1O turnout - in a state that has +2 more Republicans than Democrats!

Romney will win the presidency. I believe that the majority of independents are with us, and that the majority of undecideds (however few) will break for us. That leaves the rest of us to turn out. We need to be confident, but we can't rest either until Obama is sent packing.

I have to mention something else. I like Mitt Romney - a lot. I truly admired what he did yesterday - taking a stand for freedom. The more I learned about his good deeds for others, which was brought up at the RNC - I think this is a good man. And he's got a good VP in Paul Ryan.

I'm committed to voting for our guys this November. I'm going to get my conservative friends and family out to vote. Will you make the same pledge?

Any conservative worth his salt will pledge to this. We don’t have to worry at all about turnout as long as these polls don’t depress those of us not aware of their insidious purpose. Dhimmicrats are not enthusiastic and it shows. We will crush these guys and make Romney president. Obama will be relegated to the Jimmah Carter trashcan of history.

I agree. Volunteering today, soft pubbies were our target. We were even able to target pubbie college students (who knew) and get absentee ballots to those who needed them.

I called his campaign HQ’s today and thanked the staffer for Romney’s defense of Americans who lost their lives in Libya and for calling out this empty chair regime. They thanked me for my support. I hope Romney sees the support he’s getting, through all of the MSM DNC BS smoke screen/lies.

What kind of person would have friends who don’t vote?

I'd just like to take this opportunity to beg people not to post idiotic threads as November nears fearing that Californians won't go to the polls either because obama is a shoe-in or Romney is a shoe-in.

Regardless of what we think of Romney or what we think about the national contests we have plenty of reasons to go to the polls this November to defeat tax increases and bond issues.

Don't worry about us. We will be at the polls when the time comes.

This is wishful thinking. I live in New Hampshire — a purple state. WMUR has posted the results of yesterday’s primary election (http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/files/elections/2012/by_county/NH_Page_0911.html?SITE=WMURTVELN&SECTION=POLITICS). Three democrats and three republicans vied to replace departing democrat John Lynch. With 92% of precincts reporting, democrat Maggie Hasaan (43,162) and republican Ovide Lamontagne (69,549) have won the right to represent their parties in November. Of the 181,526 votes counted, 79,710 (44%) were cast for a democrat and 101,816 (56%) were cast for a republican. It’s difficult to say if this is an indication of enthusiasm or the result of newly implemented voter ID rules. Either way it’s good news for republicans.

The voter ID rules do not go into effect until Nov. Some cities and towns asked some (mine) didn’t. The Republican turn out was impressive for a primary, in 2010 it seemed to predict the general election in NH.

OK, if this is any indication, last week at GOP Hqs we did a count of our “stuff” - we had 868 yard signs, 800 magnetic bumper sticker, a ton of “Hot Chicks Vote Republican”, hundreds of Clint says Make My Day, Vote for Romney......today, we had 36 yard signs, 11 magnetic bumper stickers, zero Hot Chicks.....and about 30 Clint pins left.....and all day today folks were coming absolutely pissed about the past two days.....young, old....didn’t matter.....

“Dhimmicrats are not enthusiastic and it shows.”

We were talking about this earlier today. Remember all the pro-Obama bumper stickers and signs you saw in 2008? Well, when you are out tomorrow notice how few of them are around this election cycle. I have been paying close attention to this for a couple of weeks, we are now less than 60 days out and it seems that there is a lot less enthusiasm for Bozo. I think this is a very encouraging sign, no pun intended, for R&R!

If you all are seeing anything different out there in your communities, I would interested to hear about it!

4 weeks back, I have changed my registration to Independent (just to avoid annoying funds calls from GOP).
I haven’t received any confirmation card. Should I personally go check them or wait longer?

Gee, and I thought it was the Dims who were supposed to be demoralized and unmotivated by their deflated “savior”. If the Repubs have a weak showing (because Romney is “just like” Obama) we deserve what we get and the so-called Repubs will have zero (that’s right - zero as in just like Obama) right to piss and moan anymore. If we can’t get fired up solely to oust Obama, we deserve Obama.
