Back in February, 2007, Ezra Klein created a private Google Group called JournOList (or J-List) for fellow leftwing journalists, in order that they may collude and create a united front, all on a similar message each day. This developed into a rather large scandal in March of 2009, when Politico (surprisingly, for it is decidedly left-of-center) revealed the group and its intent.
Once the group was identified, and several examples of collusion were noted, the group disbanded. However, who among us believes that the collusion stopped there?
Let us review a recent posting on WonkBlog, a division of the Washington Post and authored by the dubious Mr. Klein,
Here is just a sampling of the onslaught of reporting that followed:
Romney retools strategy, dismisses report of disarray
Romney tries to steady shakey campaign (This article looks like it has been overwritten with a new hit piece by AP)
Amid rumors of discord, Romney seeks to shift strategy
NBC's Guthrie Hypes 'Squabbling' in Romney Campaign: Is it an 'Ominous Sign'?
Pundits Declare Romney Campaign In Disarray (VIDEO)
Romney Campaign in Disarray, Says Romney Campaign
Romney camp in disarray - report
Report alleges major disarray in Romney camp
Romney hits reset on campaign as he trails Obama
Is this necessarily an organized effort led by mysterious Sith Lords of the Press, manufacturing a systematic and unified message? Maybe, maybe not. One thing is certain, though: The press serves as its own echo chamber. One report from Politico served as fodder for more reporting on the report. That is not journalism, that is echoing a message that most of the writers surely and dearly hoped was true.
There is likely complicit collusion among the members of the press. We have no smoking gun, at this time, other than the 2009 revelations of the JournOList. But maybe there doesn't even need to be an organized group. The press is so solidly and cohesively united for Obama's re-election, that all it seems to take is an article, a wink, and a nod.
And the American Pravda falls neatly into line.

“Obama-Licking”? Licking’s not how I’d put it...
The positive take? We are fighting them on their own turf and holding our own. One philosophy says it’s tougher to win on the other’s turf. Another says you can’t burn down their homes if you’re fighting on your own turf.
I’m encouraged. The concerted media onslaught is not boosting Obama over 50. He’s maxed out, and they can’t move the needle.
We were never under the illusion that it was dead.
Forgive my crudeness, but I fondly call them the OSLF (the Obama Sphincter-licking Front) or the TICB (the Tongue in Cheek Brigade). I like the first one better. It sounds more revolutionary. Maybe they can start wearing brown berets : )
Those crazy columnists
Those crazy FIFTH COLUMNISTS
There's this: Audio: Press caught on open mic coordinating Egypt/Libya questions for Romney?
I looked the other day but cannot remember enough to find the Clinton-era article where MSM top personnel met regularly with Clinton's people to coordinate activities.
I recall the site "The Firehat" (I think it was called) that named Clinton press conferences as "reporter obedience training."
Ezra Klein is what we in real journalism call a “Little Marxist Shit”. The Wash. Post gave him his own column but they failed to give us the toilet paper and barf bags we need after we read them. (I use the WP as toilet paper. Feels good to give them back some of the crap they give us).
Klein is arrogant and sleazy, which seems to be the hallmark of other leftist writers for magazines also named Klein, as opposed to sane moderate/conservative writers (like Aaron Klein, WND, etc).
He is like the KAPOS of WW2, only thinking of himself while betraying everyone else. Being Jewish, if we were in a war and he wrote some of the leftist crap then that he has now, I would have shot him as a KAPO traitor, the internal equivalent of Hanoi Jane or Lord Haw Haw.
He is a disgrace to journalism, Judaism, and America. Unfortunately he uses the First Amendment to undermine America and gets away with it. That is the price we pay for having a First Amendment, but don’t worry, his friend Obama and the Moslems are working to get rid of it re any criticism of Islam.
Then Klein will feel right at home, until the Moslem Fundamentalists come for him for simply being Jewish, First Amendment rights be damned. Then the JournOList will have been exterminated as would he.
Fools never learn!
The comments section is our only weapon since we conservatives have no mainstream media outlets to make our voices heard (except for an occasional bone tossed our way from Fox News). Post online comments on every one of their ridiculous articles outing their bias and making them an object of public scorn and mockery. This has become nothing but a shouting match and we have to shout as loud as we can whenever we can.
Outstanding!

Romney needs to hammer his message on the economy. Something he really needs to do.
Obama can’t sell his economic plan because he has no economic plan.
I, for one, can’t stand to watch the “news”.
Same tired crap as yesterday. The echo chamber.
“A cynical, mercenary, demagogic press will in time produce a people as base as itself.” -Joseph Pulitzer
I sure wish the America-hating, child molesters, sexual deviants and bigots in the state run national “media” would go after their boy, Barry Soetoro, the way they are going after Romney. Every one of those lowlife bass turds need to be in jail for fraud.
Au contraire mon ami. Have you forgotten that George Soros bought up news outlets last year and the year before - my guess is to thickly spread his propaganda....certainly not to discuss his love of Capitalism *~*
In fact, the aged ones are the very ones Tom Wolfe wrote about chucking the flak in "Radical Chic & Mau-Mauing the Flak Catchers."
The flak chuckers join the fact checkers protecting the Obama Administration.
Well done - very impressive. Thank you.
