Video shows Libyans tried to save U.S. envoy after attack on Benghazi consulate
Al Arabiya News ^ | September 19, 2012 | AFP, Video by Fahid al-Bakush shared with AFP

The article mentions that "Another person is seen checking the pulse of the victim." Unfortunately the video is not included in the story; however, I am including the link to an updated and slightly longer video which does indeed show a Libyan checking Ambassador Stevens pulse at the 1:16 mark.

The US Ambassador was raped and killed by the blade of Islam. Deal with it, Dave. Islam is a #ing war plan.

The Muslim code teaches that rape and sodomy are weapons in Mohammed's Holy War against the Infidel.

One example of the deep, irrational savagery at the heart of Islam.

And who looks to Al Arabiya News for information about anything?

And what is your point?

Trying to bolster the Appeaser in Chief's lying narrative that this heinous and barbaric act of murder was somehow an "accident" based upon the "fact" that someone checked the Ambassador's pulse?

Sorry, but most of us know more about the Religion of Pieces than the average bear and what we know is that Islam is a cult and the believers hate all Infidels and won't rest until they conquer the world and covert (by force if necessary as they have done for 1,400 years) and we will never "submit"

So, why not go peddle your taqiyya over at DU or Huff&Puff Post?

Terrorist’s know they can’t rely on just shooting people to instill enough fear and terror in the world. They have to commit the most horrific and demonic acts known to mankind.

In the film “Apocalypse Now”, Marlon Brando’s character, I think, goes a long way to explain the mind set and ‘success’ of terrorism.

The ‘bright shining diamond’ he envisioned was the use of that kind of barbarism and unimaginable acts to achieve absolute submission and ‘victory.

“The horror...the horror”

I was blocked by Youtube using your link but got through by shortening it.

A lot of the idiots here don't realize that the locals helped 30 other consulate personnel escape.

“And who looks to Al Arabiya News for information about anything?”

I sometimes check the English versions of several Arab websites when our news media leaves me wanting more information. In this case, I think that I have an obligation to understand and identify friend and foe so that I can properly analyze world events.

As to my point, there is a large proportion of the population in Libya who are not radicalized. In this instance, I think that what happened is that a group of young men broke into the consular building to steal things. Young people do such things in our country too. It is not right, but it is not evil in an Al Qaeda sense.

I believe President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton committed malfeasance and were derelict in their duties. Obama apparently believes that an IPad is better than the real thing which I find, um interesting and disturbing. My humble prayer is that this whole mess disqualifies Hillary from even remotely considering running in 2016 but that is a bit unrealistic as long as the MSM maintains its power.

All I ask is that you and others not jump to conclusions so quickly. I provided info on a video with an English translation showing a man attempting to check Ambassador Steven’s pulse. People who are intent on evil do not normally do such things.

In another article I provided links that show that kindness exists in Libya and that Ambassador Stevens was loved and will be missed by many good people in Libya. He is our martyr and we should honor him in a manner that he would appreciate.

As I learn more details, if they are worth discussing I will bring them up.

One of the staffers said that the "group of young men" were firing mortars at them as they left to get to the safe house. That's usually not how vandals operate in sunny Florida.

The attack began around 9:30 PM. The group of looters did not arrive until around 12:15 AM. By then the “staffers” were long gone. No offense but you are confusing two different groups of men one group with mortars and RPGs and another group with a crow bar and some cell phones.

Just from appearances they did not at all seem to be beating him or roughing him up as was seen when a crowd had Gaddafi. At any rate the translation has been upheld by numerous Arabic speaking westerners on different Youtube uploads.

Dave Mellon-

First, I tend to agree w/your assumption that some of the “local Muslims” were and are sympathetic to Stevens and tried to do what they could to return his body to the authorities (Benghazi Medical Center); however, I think Stevens was dead by the time they found him and I doubt that they are the same group shown in the various images/videos of Stevens. (Stevens appears to be dead to me in the original 3 digital images that I saw ...note that his left forearm position, while he is being carried over the shoulder of a “rescuer,” is the same as in the morgue/hospital image where it is clear that Stevens is dead and the forearm/hand is in rigor mortis.)

As to the rescue vs torture/"dragged thru the streets" scenarios; I think the issue is being deliberately confused in order to cover up the fact that Stevens was tortured before he was murdered. There were early comments from a French diplomat indicating this was the case. Also there are the following two paragraphs from a Reuters article published on 12 Sep 2012 by a gardner named Ali Khamis and a young man named Hamam who both claimed to be present at the time the terrorists entered the consulate grounds after the attack:

“Ali Khamis, a gardener, said he was in his room at the consulate when the attack happened. “They came into the compound, through all the gates. They were shouting ‘Allahu akbar’ and they were shooting in the air when they came in,” he said.”

“Hamam, the young protester, said he had seen an American “totally covered in soot and black” lying apparently dead in the compound. Some people he said were chanting, “Allahu akbar (God is great), We are victorious over the infidels.”

Link: http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/09/13/us-libya-ambassador-assault-idUSBRE88C02Q20120913?feedType=RSS&feedName=wtMostRead&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+reuters%2FMostRead+%28News+%2F+US+%2F+Most+Read+Articles%29

Note that this was on 12 September, well before the videos came out w/what I believe are doctored audio based on the fact that the participants behavior and shouts match the description the two witnesses gave in the above paragraph ...well BEFORE anyone saw any of the video footage.

Sorry you've been catching so much flak. Basically, we're all just trying to figure out what really happened to Stevens and everyone is infuriated by the fact that the Obama administration/DoS are to blame and have clearly been lying and stonewalling about all of this.

Of course, whether or not Stevens was tortured and his body paraded through the streets of Benghazi, has no impact upon the obvious fact that this was a well planned terrorist attack and the security arrangements were totally inadequate.

Regards,

-Geoff

Thank you for the Reuters article. I had not seen it until now. It is consistent with the State Department information given to reporters on September 12th. I did mention the Abeena30 memorial video here: صور السفير الأمريكي كريس ستيفنز في ليبيا. There are other Libyan memorial videos and a lot more photos as well. I agree with you on most of your points. I will be posting a new video featuring an interview with the videographer and doctor who tried to revive Ambassador Stevens as well as the original State Department storyline. All I ask is that you keep an open mind.
