A SARS-like Virus Has Been Detected In The Middle East

September 24, 2012

Health experts are monitoring a SARS-like virus that has killed one individual and hospitalized another in the Middle East.

The World Health Organization (WHO) said on Monday that the 49-year-old Qatari man was admitted to an intensive care unit in Doha on September 7, suffering from "acute respiratory infection and kidney failure" after traveling to Saudi Arabia. He was transferred to Britain by air ambulance on September 11.

The British Health Protection Agency also released a statement on Sunday addressing the infections.

The WHO said virus samples from the patient in the UK are almost identical to those of a 60-year-old Saudi Arabian man who was infected — and died — earlier this year, according to the AP.

Like SARS, the virus in question is of the coronavirus family, but "this new virus, however, is different from any that have previously been identified in humans," according to the HPA.

“It’s still very early days,” said Gregory Hartl, a WHO spokesman, told Time . “At the moment we have two sporadic cases and there are still a lot of holes to be filled in.”

The AP also reports: "Health officials don't know yet whether the virus could spread as rapidly as SARS did or if it might kill as many people."

The 2003 SARS epidemic killed approximately 800 people, mostly in Asia.

Be sure to tell them that all antibiotics, pain medications, and medial procedures that will keep them alive were developed by Jews.

It’s in the Muslim world. They will need to be quarantined for the next 100 years.

We had to try something since our foreign aids program in the muzzies is a failure.

A series of great hanta virus epidemics started up in the Americas maybe a full decade ~ maybe two ~ before Columbus arrived. Within 150 years the native American Indian population was reduced by about 95%.

And, the immigrant European and African populations were cut down just as bad ~ once the plague stopped the Europeans and Africans swarmed over both continents with ease since they had bulging populations back home that could relocate here and fill the gap.

Eventually something like that will happen to the Middle Eastern urban populations proving one more time why all succeeding empires in the region have brought with them peculiar beliefs and customs typical of a couple of tribes of Bedouin.

It's good to hang around the goats and sheep apparently.

Now, a good question ~ will this interrupt the flow of gas and oil? The answer is, of course, no, because the Western world has invented a successful environmental safety suit which will allow a limited number of trusted people to go in and repair the valves as needed.

It appears million of Muslims are afflicted with some disease called Murderitis where they seek to kill everyone who isn’t a Muslim. Many times even if they’re Muslims. These murderous fiends either have to be quarantined or erased from the surface of the earth.

Sooo... The ME has a burgeoning vermin population that will wipe them all out?

And if some plague hits it will really wipe them out?

I like it.

Quite frankly, Muslims are inhuman, so that must explain it.

That’s gotta be the best drunk-bellow name, ever — “Stellllaaaaaah!” Can’t really count Wilma (Flintstone), because afawk, Fred never got drunk.

I wonder if Bishop’s Finger is more, or less, popular over there?

To: blam; All

Probably ought to fire this up to post to everybody ~ http://article.wn.com/view/2012/09/07/West_Virginia_resident_latest_death_linked_to_Yosemite_hanta/ ~ and, tonight, on the local CBS affiliate the news was a Fairfax County resident was among the current number of fatalities ~ and that’s America’s RICHEST COUNTY so if it can kill those people it can kill anybody. Kill all chipmonks BTW.

LOL!

But this is a serious story. There are reports of such a virus in England as well.
