Our current President has built and re-built international relationships absolutely obliterated by the Bush Administration

I had thrice gagged in an effort to not blow chunks, but after that line, I lost it.

My keyboard was spared, thank goodness, but now I have to clean the carpet.................... tis not a pretty site

waste of bandwidth and time, and I hope you are over any delusions that this person is either sane or intelligent. She is neither.

With the exception of 4 friends or family members who willingly embrace their well earned designation of “bleeding heart liberal”, every single other democrat/liberal of my acquaintance adamantly refers to themselves as a “moderate”, despite their impassioned defense of all things democrat/liberal. I think that in their deluded little minds, they think that calling themselves “moderate” makes them sound all centrist and enlightened and accepting, which of course is part of the liberal tendency toward “political correctness”. Therefor, whenever anyone self describes as a moderate, in my mind I am saying “liberal who wants to be liked by everyone”. That seems to fit with this person precisely.

The association of the Tea Party with white supremacists just makes no sense at all. Did you ask her where her evidence for these “extremists” in the Tea Party is? Is Allen West a white supremacist? Was Bush racist when he sent billions of aid to Africa? On the other hand, were Clinton and Obama perhaps racist when they refused to intervene in Rwanda and Sudan?

Having international people “like” us is an incredibly stupid goal. They like us when we are weak, because all nations are in a battle for power over each other and the world. Is she itching to find out what sort of “flexibility” Obama will have with the Russians in his second term? More opportunity to sell out our allies in eastern Europe and in Israel perhaps?

If you disagree with Obama’s policies, and think they’ll hurt the country, why would you not want him to be a one-term president? Did the Democrats not want Bush to be a one-term president? They didn’t even acknowledge that he had a right to serve his first term!

She wants the IRS diminished in power, yet she supports Obamacare, which includes a big expansion of the IRS to enforce it. Makes no sense at all.

Detroit is happy. Is the taxpayer happy, who lost billions and billions on the deal, from a company that may still fail? A lot of failing companies would love it if the taxpayer gave them a few free billion. That’s an argument for doing it?

We already had an article on here that said 97% of people pay a lower tax rate than Romney. His taxes are by no means low. The idea that the government is being “robbed” of tax revenue has things completely backwards, as anyone who is not a hardcore liberal should understand.

The idea that Obama wants us to become energy-independent is absurd. He encouraged South American countries to drill more oil so that we could happily buy it from them. He has frozen up federal offshore and land-based drilling as much as possible. He wants to put coal plants out of business. All that Obama’s efforts to alternative energy has produced is billions of dollars in wasted money paid to his cronies. Fossil fuels aren’t harming the environment, technology helps us retrieve more and more every day, and the private sector will develop alternative energy on its own through the good old profit motive as soon as it becomes possible or financially viable.

The idea that voter ID should be “phased in” not “forced in” makes no sense at all. Who is forcing anything? Laws have been passed and over many months the information is being given to voters on the change.

To the nincompop who penned the subject thesis (certainly NOT you robo, you seem to be a fine Freeper):

Everyone of us is entitled to his or her own opinion no matter how ill advised, myopic, mule headed, idiotic, hare brained, or just plain old flat-lined brain dead stupid it might be. That being the case I would appreciate it if you would keep your bilge water to yourself.

Regards,
GtG

Delusionally articulate-—or articulately delusional?

Enquiring minds don’t give a crap.

It saddens me that I could not see through my own bigotry and understand the wealth of humanity that IS the ONE. DAMN my lying eyes, ears, and corrupted mind!

Unfettered am I, after receiving a gift post of this enormity!

Had I understood the depravity of my views prior, I would turn my face in shame.

Truly,
a kinda, sorta conservative.

You’re quite right.

It’s very much (IMO) like the elite intellectuals who have this idea that what they theorize is the best way to do things-—having never participated nor competed in the commercial world. So they speak from an utter lack of experience and exposure; and of course, this is what makes them so very self-righteous in their approach and is their justification for being qualified to advise business: They’ve never been polluted by the gritty travails of commercial, for-profit enterprise. And so, not only are they smarter than you and I, but their motives are unsullied. We luddites are just wasting time until that day when we embrace and adopt their theories which don’t even require proof that they’ll make our lives better. We’re clearly just Neanderthals waiting around for a clue and can’t see superior ideation when it’s thrown in our faces.

The GOP has never been more moderate.
This person says the GOP is not open to compromise, what about the Democrats do they want to compromise? Nope.

This was a statement by Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Gheit on Nile-TV. It was made on the «Round table show».

This is the statement recorded:

Adul Gheit said he had a one-on-one meeting with Obama, where the US President told him that He was still a Muslim, the son of a Muslim father, the step son of Muslim stepfather, that his half brothers in Kenya are Muslims, and that he was sympathetic towards the Muslim agenda.

Adul Gheit claimed Obama told the Arabs to show patience. Obama promised that once he overcame some domestic issues, like the Health care reform, he would show the Muslim World how to deal with Israel.

“Each and every one must be considered equally, and on that there can be no compromise.”

Neil Peart and Mark Steyn comment, in a duo, about which, to them, I apologize:

(Neil) There is unrest in the forest, there is trouble with the trees.
For the Maples want more sunlight and the Oaks ignore their pleas.
... (Mark) farce ... followed by farce ... followed by
(Neil) For they passed a noble law

(Neil) And the trees are all kept equal by hatchet, axe and saw.
... (Mark) ... tragedy.
