Obama Advisor Admits "We Need Death Panels"
world net daily ^ | 10/2/2012 | Aaron Klein

A top Democrat strategist and donor who served as President Obama’s lead auto-industry adviser recently conceded that the rationing of heath services under Obamacare is “inevitable.”

Steven Rattner advocated that such rationing should target elderly patients, while stating, “We need death panels.”

Rattner serves on the board the New America Foundation, or NAF, a George Soros-funded think tank that was instrumental in supporting Obamacare in 2010. Soros’ son, financier Jonathan Soros, is also a member of the foundation’s board.

Rattner was the so-called “car czar,” the lead auto adviser to the Treasury Department under Obama.

Last month, Rattner penned an opinion piece in the New York Times titled “Beyond Obamacare” in which he proclaimed “We need death panels” and argued rationing must be instructed to sustain Obama’s health-care plan. His comments have been virtually ignored by traditional media as the president campaign’s for a second term.

“We need death panels,” began Rattner. “Well, maybe not death panels, exactly, but unless we start allocating health-care resources more prudently – rationing, by its proper name – the exploding cost of Medicare will swamp the federal budget.”

And the exact same people who screamed to keep Abortion decisions as a private matter between “a woman and her doctor” also demanded that government invade and take over their doctor offices for every other aspect of out lives.

I am the “death panel” in my house. If you doubt me, come through my front door uninvited. (back door, too)

Hmmmmm….wonder if the numerous undeserving, scamming, entitlements recipients would then ‘embrace’ death panels???

Only the ordinary pee-ons will be sent to the undertaker through the death panels.

And from the undertaker, on to the Soylent Corporation.

Can't let a resource base go to waste.

Wait, it’s World Net Daily so there has to be an automatic dismissal /s

And don't forget, it's the same as the Limbaugh Dismissal, so it means that not only is it all lies, it's still lies if nobody says anything but only thinks it, plus, it was lies retroactively from the beginning of the Universe.

A man's got to know his epistemic limitations.

Oh, wait -- that was Clint Eastwood, wasn't it? We'll, he lies, too, ever since the Republican convention, and presumably retroactively as well. Down the Memory Hole with Clint!

Are they going to be armed death panels? I bet they are...

Like Strelnikov, in Dr. Zhivago -- they'll give them armored trains and three or four firing squads per train; and the panel members will all get to wear kewl long black leather coats and wire-rimmed glasses and that True Believer/Children of the Corn faraway look.

Oh, hell no! Not with seniors voting disproportionately Republican! Gotta start in on them right now!

RE :”Oh, hell no! Not with seniors voting disproportionately Republican! Gotta start in on them right now!

As long as we dont require voter ID the Death Panels might work. Make it easier to cut Medicare too.

They could try the Soylent Green idea, ‘Going home....cool movie...then lights go out...””

Obama's pretty confident of reelection -- he's poll-testing and floating out there a couple of Second Term initiatives right now: a) Death Panels as we discussed, and also b) Single-party (dictatorial) government, which of course implies elimination of a number of political and speech rights.

My personal answer to government death panels can be found in the George C. Scott movie “Rage.” Enough is Enough.

Death panels
My foot and if they do want them. Let’s begin with those who vote for them. This is America a d will never happen. There are too many good people in this country and too many below ground to EVER even begin to imagine anything like this in this country. Oh no. NEVER!!!
