Lima, Peru (CNN) -- Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the buck stops with her when it comes to who is to blame for security ahead of a deadly assault on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya.
"I take responsibility" for what happened on September 11, Clinton said in an interview with CNN's Elise Labott soon after arriving in Lima, Peru, for a visit. The interview, one of a series given to U.S. television networks Monday night, was the first she has given about the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.
Clinton insisted President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are not involved in security decisions.
"I want to avoid some kind of political gotcha," she added, noting that it is close to the election.
The attack killed Chris Stevens, the U.S. ambassador to Libya, and three other Americans at the consulate

Hillary Clinton stated is taking full responsibility for the in action in providing the Ambassador with the additional security he requested. It looks like Hillary has a bigger set of ovaries than Obama has balls.
Or, when it comes to the “family jewels of the Democrat party” it is Hillary who has them, not Obama. Perhaps the Dems nominated the wrong person in 2008 and 2012?

This admin/the far left have, since zero occupied the WH, instituted the policy that no lie is nonsensical enough to warrant refraining from uttering it.
So, this admission should not have been necessary. We’re in the fairyland of propaganda media.
Obviously zero’s handlers are looking to make any and all investigations quiet down as the election approaches.
Hitlery perhaps has seen what’s coming up in terms of investigations, i.e., what Congress is asking for, etc. As the Klintonistas are the reigning experts in teflon-coated boldfaced publick lies, perhaps she’s been given this assignment by her handlers. Perhaps she’s taken it upon herself in an effort to forestall Congress from asking more questions of others in the State dept, thinking that it will be easier to keep the lies straight if they talk to fewer people. Since she’s “accepted” responsibility for not having enough security, she’s hoping they won’t ask any more questions of others. She can then explain why with some simple nonsensical fabrications.
If zero is re-elected, whoever made this happen will be owed a lot by zero’s handlers.
If he is not re-elected, there still may be a lot owed, depending on what this coverup is covering up, which humble little people like moi have no clue of.

I don’t think so. Hillary is falling on her sword for Obama, whose policies were the root of the disaster and who did nothing about anything the whole day as it was unfolding. He left town and went to bed. He never even met with the NSC after the event. He has been negligent since the beginning (but of course, only after arming and empowering the jihadis).
Hillary has turned out to be surprisingly weak and absolutely cowers when she’s around Obama. People thought that the Clintons had something on Obama, but I suspect that Obama has something even worse on them, because Hillary has been an absolute doormat from day one.
That said, I don’t think anybody is going to believe that this is Hillary’s doing alone; she is clearly not responsible for setting policy (that’s done by Valerie Jarrett and some other random radicals, speaking through Obama) and the idea that she is now, weeks later, “taking responsibility” is positively laughable. Nice, Bambi, but no cigar.

Which she will simply blame on someone else.

Quid pro quo: Hillary takes responsibility - Obama does not ask her to stay and expresses confidence in her.
Win-win for both. Obama gets criticism of his foreign policy blunder deflected and Hillary gets to stay Secretary of State for 4 more years.
She can always dump it back on Obama when he is done being president and she runs herself in 2016.
