Obama Campaign Tries To Discredit Gallup Poll

A pollster for President Barack Obama is disputing the accuracy of the latest Gallup/USA Today survey that shows Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney tied at 48 percent among likely women voters in battleground states. Joel Benenson says this result "is an extreme outlier, defying the trends seen in every other battleground and national poll." Benenson argues that Obama remains ahead among women.

Obama Campaign Tries To Discredit Gallup Poll

Gallup has been in the tank for the 0bama regime at least since '08. Could it be that the lefties are turning on each other?

Actually, it could be even worse for 0bummer. Here's Gallup's "methodology":

"Samples are weighted by gender, age, race, Hispanic ethnicity, education, region, adults in the household, population density, and phone status (cell phone only/landline only/both, cell phone mostly, and having an unlisted landline number). Demographic weighting targets are based on the March 2011 Current Population Survey figures for the aged 18 and older U.S. non-institutionalized population"

That means that 0bambi's Slacker Community is weighted as just as likely to show up and vote as our Energized Community. That's just not true, especially this year.

If Gallup re-weighted based on turnout probabilities (motivated voters), not pure demographics (warm bodies), this poll would show a blowout.

IMHO. 55% / 45%. I stand by my prediction of late Summer.

Methinks the Axelrod and Jarrett threats aren’t taken as seriously these days. Maybe these pollsters have finally accepted that what they’ve been so furiously trying to discount with lopsided voter designations, misplaced samples, under-sampled samples, et al are simply not working. They may be realizing there is a tide rising that is likely become the tidal wave that washes that buttwipe out of office on November 6.

They have all their fingers and toes in the dike now, and there is the wash of realization starting to pour over the top of it now. Apparently, they’re not willing to stick their last ‘appendage’ in it to try and save Obama.

Empty Chair.

At some point Obama became uncool. I think it was Eastwood combined perfectly with the Denver debate. Public added it up.

Perhaps Gallup is tried of the regime harassing them over voter sampling. I don’t know why they are complaining. Gallup has done just about everything to help BHO and still the loser is struggling to pop thru 50%.

If the Clinton name comes up, Romney should say “do you mean the former president that was impeached for lying?” or “the current Secratary of State responsible for 4 Americans tragic death.”

Gallup picked the universe of undecided voters who submitted question. Candy Crowley selects which questions to ask!

The dishonest polls have a mean bounceback. Now, in order to not look useless, the pollsters will have to use turnout models that more likely resemble the probable electorate. The correction makes it look like Romney is surging - so the detached voter may go for the guy who is coming on strong.

you can tell what REALLY bugs 0bama.
American deaths in Libya?
Jobs?
The economy?
Gas and Oil production?
Nope. What really bugs him is Gallup’s polls and Romney’s sucessful debate proformance.

No doubt, when the election is finished, and Obama ends up the loser, he’ll question that poll too.

He’ll likely ask the UN to investigate the election results when he loses.

Gallup is just coming around to reality.

They know that, dishonest polling may win them some friends with the democrats and with Obama and the liberal media, but, they also know that, if the election results show them to have been VERY WRONG, that their credibility for future polling will always be in question, and they could actually go out of business when nobody ever uses them again to conduct surveys and polls. It’s a matter of survival for Gallup.
