Do Get Out the Vote Calls for Romney in the Swing States from the Comfort of Your Own Home

Get out the vote is one of the most important things a campaign does to win an election. It's actually going to be more important in a lot of ways in the presidential race than convincing the few undecided voters still out there to come Romney's way.

You can help with Romney's get out the vote effort by going to his website and signing up to make get out the vote calls into the swing states using your free cell long distance. They provide the numbers, the names of the voters and a script, currently focused on getting people to do early voting but which will change in a couple weeks to encouraging Republicans to get out and vote. This is a great way to contribute to ending Obama's Reign of Error, especially if you can't afford to make a campaign donation. Instead, you can donate a little time.

All you need to do to sign up is go to Romney's website http://www.mittromney.com. Then under "In Your Community" click on "Make calls." You'll then go through a quick, one time registration process. Once registered, click on "Begin calling" near the top. It tends to assign you calls to the nearest swing state. For instance I'm in California and it defaulted me to calling Nevada. But you can switch to calling Ohio or any other state under "Begin calling" and then clicking on "My account." Then under "Assigned project" just click on whichever state you wish to call. I recommend Ohio. But certainly Virginia, Florida, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Colorado and Nevada are good picks as well.

Then once you click "Begin calls" you enter your cell numebrs and the compute will bring up the name and number of the person you're to call. You just let the computer do the dialing for you! You don't need to dial each time and you don't need to disconnect your phone until your done calling for the day! It couldn't be easier.

The calls are quick, easy and most people are glad to hear from you. Making these calls WILL make a difference in which side wins and which side loses. Get out the vote can make the difference between a close election and a blow out election. Please just take a few minutes a day to make these calls! Thanks!

This is for those who are interested in being rid of Obama. You’re not. That’s fine. The rest of us will take care of it.

I will call. This communist Obama must go.

In debate Romney should say:

When Obama said he created 5 million jobs say “ Yes 5 million jobs created in China , zero in the U.S.A “

Also when Obama talks about Romney's 5 trillion $ tax cut say”You're confused, that's the federal debt that you burdened Americans with which is greater than all 11 previous presidents combined. but you say Bush put you in the hole, no its you who put America in a crater”

I love the comment on the debt. That would be a killer. And the 5 million jobs number is bunk. Obama’s own Labor Dept. says the NET job creation number on Obama’s watch is 125,000—though that was before the last anemic jobs report of 114,000. Even adding those in, Obama’s created about as many jobs as president as Romney did in the private sector with at least 100,000 created through Bain, 88,000 created at Staples and many thousands more created by Romney’s other business enterprises. Obama may be the first president in modern history whose challenger created more jobs as a private citizen than the incumbent did while president!

Also, thanks for your help on this effort.

Good suggestion! But unless we get them out to vote, having all the information in the world won’t matter in terms of the election. I think doing both of these things will make an outstanding contribution to ridding us of the scourge of Obamaism. Thanks for letting us know about this other resource!

Thanks. I wish I could get those lines to the Romney camp! i will try to call them and get through. Yes that 5 million jobs is bunk. it's a lie . He created jobs in China not the U.S.A.

look at my graph and you will see the constant decline in the number of adults working all throughout Obama’s term. but the media says unemployment is improving. what a lie.

What was the report Senate Republicans issued yesterday, that for every 1 person who found a job on Obama’s watch 10 dropped out of the workforce? I hope Romney uses that one tonight.

If they read ‘The Obama File’ it should get them mad enough to get out and vote. Most don’t have a clue as to his history and just what he has done.
(the site gets almost 2,000 hits per day)

What a massive scandal that our so-called news media won’t report at least some of the information there. I’m sure some of it isn’t credible, but I’m sure a lot of it is. Even if half of it is true, it’s still paints a horrofying picture of the creep we’ve allowed to sully the White House. You can bet if even one of those stories was about a Republican president, the media wouldn’t let go of it for a year. The media’s corruption is near total.

“The calls are quick, easy and most people are glad to hear from you.”

ONCE AGAIN!!!!!
Well if people are so glad to hear these calls why are so many people on the DO NOT CALL LIST? Because we hate rude people who think our homes and our phones are there for someone else’s use.

As I have posted before every time this garbage comes up, I had to threaten the local republicans to stop these damned calls.

Yeah, some moron, calling my home with political crappola is a sure way to get my vote. NOT!

Even being on the Do Not Call List, I am getting an average of 15 calls a day and I do not enjoy the interruption as more often then not I am not near the phone.

These are registered Republican voters who are glad to hear someone is out there trying to get their guy elected. It's a call to remind them to vote, not trying to sell them telephone service or magazines. When people put themselves on do not call lists, they're doing it with telemarketers in mind, not people volunteering for a campaign because they care about the nation. I think there's a wide difference in attitude between those two types of calls. I'm sure the amount of these kinds of calls can get a little annoying, but why not be glad there are people willing to put in the time, without pay, to elect conservatives and to make the country a better place instead of getting angry at them?

By the way, why would you call fellow conservatives who are only wanting to get the right people elected “morons?”

Since it’s calling Republican voters, they’d likely be hung up on instantly. Let them waste valuable time they could be using to help their guy.

YES, absolutely, when the morons exclude themselves from the laws the rest of us have to obey they ARE morons, rude and arrogant.

The DO NOT CALL list was designed to stop unwanted calls and for some reason the political morons of the world think they are above the rest of us and write themselves an exception to the law. You may be fine with politicians excluding themselves from the laws they impose on us but I am not and I am sure many REAL Conservatives don’t like it either.

Millions of us have spoken that we do NOT WANT unsolicited phone calls by taking the time to sign up on the DO NOT CALL LIST and only political MORONS and sleazy scam peddling telemarketers would ignore that.

So if you choose to ignore the will of the people who took the time to tell you we do not want these calls then.... have a nice day!

Political calls are generally exempt from the do-not-call list. You apparently know this. You may be right that politicians should not be excluded from this or that subscribers to the list should be able to indicate their preference. Non-profits are also excluded, not just politicians.

If you do not want to receive these type of calls, your current options are to let calls go to voice mail (or unanswered if no voice mail) for calls from unrecognized numbers (there are ways to automate this), answer and end the call as you see fit, or do not use a phone. Sorry. That’s the way it is. You can petition for changes to the system, but we have to use the system as it stands today.

Romney SHOULD use phone banks to get out the vote. He IS AND SHOULD BE calling without regard to someone being on the do-not-call-list because that list is not intended to indicate whether someone is willing to receive calls from political and non-profit organizations.

I would respectfully disagree because I highly doubt anyone with a functioning brain would be positively swayed by an unknown person interrupting them and suggesting they vote for XYZ.

If someone called you to vote for Marxist Obama would it change your mind? I don’t think so.

There should be NO exclusions except for a reverse 911 call system.

Those of us who took the time to register on the DNC list obviously do not like unknown people calling their homes.

I do a lot of computer programming and it is very irritating to have my mind buried in a few thousand lines of code then some twit, who ignores my DNC wishes, calls. The interruptions at dinner set my blood boiling. Just “Who TF” do these people think they are?
