I gather you're sorta in the same situation that I'm in — to have reached the point where there's nothing more to say. I feel I'm in a kind of Limbo, not even knowing how to think of the future, let alone plan for it. And will not know until November 7th at least.
My hubbie B. predicts that Romney will win in a landslide, in both popular and electoral votes. But I'm not in the prediction business these days. I'll take the advice of Capt. Jack Aubrey: "Never predict the outcome of a battle. You only tempt fate."
On the merits, Romney wins. On the cheating, Obama might yet win. The story today about Republicans in Florida receiving official notices that their voting eligibility was under challenge by the Florida Secretary of State (so they better resolve the difficulty before they try to vote; otherwise, they might be subject to criminal prosecution) is an example of what I mean. Considering the Seattle postmark of these letters, the senders were clearly involved in mail fraud — a criminal activity the Feds usually punish rather severely — on top of voter fraud (ditto).
This particular problem was detected, nipped in the bud. But that only begs the question: How may other examples of electoral cheating are still out there that have not been detected?
So I'm on my knees, praying for God's Will and Truth to prevail....
If by God's Will Romney prevails on November 7th, then I think we instantly ought to have a FReeper celebration of Praise and Thanksgiving to God on that day!!!
Yet I'm aware that not all my Christian brethren would consider a Romney victory a cause for celebration.
To my dear brothers and sisters in Christ who feel this way, may I simply ask you: Do you consider it preferable that a sitting president who routinely lies to the American people — though his teeth, seemingly with impunity, without resort to conscience, to the purpose of building an ideological fantasy land that repudiates everything the Constitution and the American people have historically stood for — NOT be summarily removed from Office? On the grounds that he is morally unfit to serve?
To me, the greatest insult is that 0bama constantly, predictable acts against the notion that We the People of the United States of America are a people "under God," in Whom we trust. From these simple foundational ideas, America has become the freest, most prosperous, most innovative and creative society on earth. Not to mention that we as a nation have tried to extend the blessings of liberty to others around the globe; we stand with "the common man" against the dictators; we have been unsparing with our charity and goodwill WRT other nations, even (probably) those who don't "deserve" it.
Anyhoot dear Joanie, I'm just hunkered down for now. I don't know how this "fortune cookie" will finally crumble.
But I know that all is in God's hands. I hope and pray that He will ever bless America and her People.

America will get what they deserve.. rarely do they get better than they deserve, like with Reagan.. very rarely.. It is almost never said but we have now the president we deserve.. America deserves Obama.. “WE” have murdered more than 75,000,000 babies.. Obama is just punishment..
Republicans have allowed socialism and anarchy to be taught in our Universitys and even in our high schools.. and allowed Civics and American History NOT TO BE taught in those places.. What could go WRONG!.. America has been dumbed down immensely.. Republicans allowed it.. Not all republicans but MOST OF THEM..
Republicans choosing the inventor of Romney-care to run against the inventor of Obama-care is a Cartoon.. and totally rejecting ALL Conservative candidates.. all of them.. in the primary’s.. I don’t blame you for not choosing one of the other of the candidates for President.. Who knows what a liberal republican from Mass. will do..
Obama almost always says one thing and does another(the opposite) AND gets away with it.. Romney is not dumb he may do the same.. Except for throwing the republicans a few bones.. You know... like George Bush did..
America is being punished by Obama.. could be they(we) will also be punished by Romney.. Hope not.. BUT!!!....
