I felt he didn’t push the right angle. Early on he brings out that State and others were watching IN REAL TIME.....and leaves it there. Col. Hunt has said repeatedly that this was viewed by many, including the WH situation room, but Bret never presses this point.
I found it good as far as the timeline of the reduction of security, the attack and the public statements, but disappointing as to the exposure of the administration’s reaction, or lack thereof, to the events as they happened.

Why does Hillary say “Let me state very clearly, and I hope it is obvious, that the United States government had absolutely nothing to do with this video,” Clinton said at a press conference in Washington.

Why was it necessary for her to make this statement? Who would even question that she or Obama would have anything to do with making the video?

Obama said on Letterman the film was made by somebody that lives here, sort of a shadowy character and we denounced it and the US government had nothing to do with it. Is the film maker even an American citizen?

Why all the need to repeatedly promote and advertise this video? Yes, I know they do not want to discuss their deliberate neglect, but why would anyone think they president and secretary of state had anything to do with that film?

A Libyan emergency room doctor who treated Stevens said Libyan security guards brought him to the hospital at 1 a.m., his lips black and his body reeking of smoke.

He was officially pronounced dead at 1:45 a.m. from smoke inhalation and carbon monoxide poisoning, but the doctor who tried to revive him, Ziad Bouzaid, 31, said Stevens was dead on arrival. Bouzaid said the body bore no other signs of injury.

That all stemmed from one early report from the Libyan street the day after the attack. It never had much credibility.

It makes no sense whatsoever, since nobody accused them of having any part of the making of that video. Absolving themselves was their first and only priority, next was blaming an offensive video that nobody ever heard/saw.

And consider the fact that on Youtube there are 1000s if not hundreds of 1000s of anti-islamic movies that could be considered a million times more offensive and they’ve been up for years. And all of a sudden this one particular video is singled out? The fact is it was all an excuse by the Islamo Nazis and the Islamo Marxist in the WH.

These people speak in a parsed language... remember 'depending on the meaning of the word is'? So why the continued and repeated need to disassociate themselves specifically from having any part in making that video? Nobody accused them of having any thing to do with the film. It is beyond bizarre to make themselves part of the response to the video, deny a terrorist attack, blame a video that they specifically had no part in making.

Add to that 0bama's statements on Letterman about the film maker being a "shadowy character." More accurately he was a gov snitch on probation who had been given a pass on his check kiting rap. His partner in the film was in even deeper with the Feds.

• Nakoula is a FedMob snitch.
• Nakoula's partner in the film was Eiad Salameh, a Palestinian Muslim.
• AFAIK Nakoula was never a film maker before. He was a check kiter.
• The film was not originally about Mohammed.
• Clips from the film were first aired on Egyptian TV just 3-4 days before Sept. 11th by a hardline 'tele-Islamist.'
• 0bama, Hillary and Rice have repeatedly made a point of saying that the U.S. gov had "nothing to do with the film." Something no one in the world would have ever thought.
• 0bama and Hillary have engaged in a major campaign of disinformation to blame the film and apologize for it.

Something I picked up on and had missed during the last debate (although I am sure it was discussed here) was Barack telling Candy to "get the transcript"!

You have done an excellent job of summing up the beyond bizarre circus Obama and Hillary put in motion. I have not been able to figure out who exactly they are talking to. But there is a reason why these two repeatedly told US and the world they had nothing to do with the making of that video.

There is a reason for that and it’s a complete mystery. Why did they feel the need to work so hard to distance themselves from the idea that the U.S. gov (obviously them specifically) had something to do with making the “video?” As you ask, “who are they trying to convince?” Not the American people that would be too weird. I can’t see why the Arab Street, as they call it, would think it either and would the muzzies give a rat’s patoot if they did think so?

Well, judging by the photographs of his body being paraded triumphantly along the street while the Libyans snapped cell phone photos of it, I’d say the “no other injuries” part is a lie.

Maybe the other injuries didn’t kill him, but he clearly has scrapes and bleeding all over him.

I suspect that what happened is that the Libyans dragged him out, hauled him around and possibly attempted to sodomize him (probably with a stick or some object) to express disrespect, or at any rate abused his body if he was already dead, and then as they were jubilantly parading him along the street, some armed party arrived with a car and got his body away from them and brought him to the hospital.

Even if he had been alive when they dragged him through that opening in the wall, he was clearly dead in the later photographs (where some of the Libyans can be seen hopping up and down and grabbing their crotches in a gesture of contempt). And since he was dead, he was no longer of any use to them, so when somebody on our side appeared, they dumped his body and it was taken to the hospital.

In my opinion, that would account for the initial confusion over how he was brought to the hospital and the victory-lap photos that we have seen.
