U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens repeatedly pleaded with the State Department for additional security personnel Republicans say the Obama administration denied the request for political reasons The White House says it had no role in procuring security detail for Stevens ---------------------------------------------

American drones were in the skies above the U.S. consulate in Benghazi as the deadly attack that killed ambassador Christopher Stevens unfolded, it has been revealed.

Defense department officials considered sending troops in to rescue the ambassador and staff, according to CBS News, but ultimately decided not to .

They would haven been able to watch the attack on-screen as it unfolded.

The revalations came a day after it emerged that U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens repeatedly pleaded with the State Department to ramp up his security team in Libya -- requests that the Pentagon ultimately denied -- in the weeks, days and hours leading up to the terrorist attack that killed him and three other Americans, newly released cables have revealed.

Stevens, who was killed in the 11 September attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, warned the State Department of a 'security vacuum' in Libya 'that is being exploited by independent actors' in one cable that described rapidly deteriorating security conditions.

'Islamic extremists are able to attack the Red Cross with impunity,' he wrote. 'What we have seen are not random crimes of opportunity but rather targeted discriminate attacks.'

If there was a Pro-American government in charge in Washington DC, that guy in the picture would be “dead man walking.”

That’s a good picture of a disgruntled Libyan movie critic.

4 men were tortured and murdered because of our idiot president and all you can say is that it looks like Detroit?

Shameful.

You got that right. I passed through Detroit going into Canada last year. That city looks like a war-zone.

Romney should use your “disgruntled Libyan movie critic” line at the debate on Monday night.

DOD watched and did nothing.

State Department watched and did nothing.

National Security Team at WH watched and did nothing.

Obama said at the last debate he was on the phone with his national security team within an hour, and they did nothing.

==

Imagine the panic and petrification if multiple major attacks, as on 9-11-2001 had occurred on Obama’s watch. They would still be curled up in fetal positions, sucking their thumbs, and hoping it would just all go away.

The Benghazi Massacre was a set-up:

"Body Of Lies From Benghazi To Barack"...

"Weapons Hunting - The Reason For The 9-11 Murders In Libya"...

"While The Rest of You Have Been Distracted"...

...and still NO ONE, including ISSA, has followed up on Lamb’s comments before the House Committee!
Even Bret in his FOX special last night let it slide right on by.

Nothing to see here, folks. Move along now. Let’s just listen to the jokes at the Al Smith Dinner.

POLITICIANS ARE SCUM!!!

Well of course they didn't. It's not like there was anyone IMPORTANT in there, or anything. /s

here we’re limits to what Bret Beier could say in an hour.

and first off he had to educate people about just what happened that day and the days leading up to it. Not everyone was following the story as closely as us.

what Bret and Palkot showed will anger most viewers. After that he can follow up with the aftermath. And there are so many angles to address wrt the aftermath!

Cut Bret Baier some slack. He’s the only one trying to tell the truth in a way the avg person can understand.

That statement is flawed. DoD officials undoubtedly did want to send troops to the rescue. To enter a foreign country to do so could only be ordered by ONE MAN. The POTUS! Not one other person has the authority to issue that order.

More evidence that the man child in charge cherry picks his live feed football spikes. The Abbatobad raid was conceived, planned and conducted by men he isn't worthy to cast a shadow across, yet he makes the most of it for personal gain and no risk to him. Yet, when threat indicators and real time feed clearly show a terrorist attack unfolding, Obama can't be found - too much risk involved and not optimal for him to take appropriate action.

What a #*%+ing weasel.

Class, can you say dereliction of duty?

Yes, I can. For weeks now I have thought that the denial of requests for security were a dereliction of duty. I consider the lies and misdirection about the "video" after the attack to be fraud and malfeasance under the color of authority. I don't consider the inaction during the attack to be any of those.

IMO the failure to act during the attack is the direct equivalent of desertion.

ONE MAN had the authority to act that night.

ONE MAN deserted his post!

Shameful.

Hey, it's a good thing when one person doesn't say JUST THE RIGHT THING, or EVERYTHING , in the second post.

That leaves it for the rest of us to work on.
