Osama bin Laden is dead and -- no question about it -- that's a very good thing.
It also seems to be just about the only thing - or at least the main thing - that Barack Obama cites as a seemingly credible accomplishment of his presidency.
But what our hopelessly pro-Obama media never point out and Mitt Romney should sometime soon, preferably during tonight's foreign policy debate, is that even while succeeding in killing bin Laden, Barack Obama once again botched things.
Obama's pitch is that George W. Bush didn't get bin Laden, but Obama did and therefore he deserves unqualified credit.
In responding to Obama's over-the-top boasting about killing bin Laden, Republicans have failed to raise and strongly stress a truly significant fact about Obama's decision-making and execution ineptitude that powerfully illustrates why Barack Obama should not be commander-in-chief.
Think about it:
We know - and the media even reported this - that when we killed bin Laden we also captured his computers and other valuable sources of information.
Yet President Obama was in such a rush to announce that bin Laden was dead, brag about it, and bask in the glory of that great event, that he called in the media for coverage well before US intelligence received the captured computers and had any time to decipher codes and study information and likely discover names and locations of other al-Qaeda operatives around the world.
Obama foolishly signaled a heads-up to every key al-Qaeda operative in the world to immediately change location before we came paying a visit.
A commander-in-chief as intent on protecting the security of our country as he is in promoting himself would have kept his mouth shut - and made certain everyone else in the know did the same -

Clearly it would have been much better for America’s security if Obama had waited to try to take out more of bin Laden’s network and then announced that we had not only gotten bin Laden but also a sizeable chunk of his back-up team.
Obama should also be asked why he was on the golf course when the operation got underway and only was notified when the aircraft entered Pakistani airspace.
Also left a pretty high-end helicopter burning on the ground to be studied by the Chinese et al. Not to mention that poor Paki doctor that’s still in their tender care. These were two issues where he really COULD HAVE made a difference.

That man is in hiding now and is all but useless to us.
Only Nobama could screw up the death of bin Laden.
Remember the hours and days immediately after Husssein went on live TV to annouce OBL’s death? There were as many contradictory “official” reports from the White House then as there are now regarding Benghazi.
Americans could not rejoice and celebrate the death of OBL. Because we were lied to again and again by Obama as to what really happened. At least we know one thing for certain: bin Laden was given a decent mussie burial.

Why was 0sama killed, not captured?
I remeber the shellacing George H. Bush took for being on a fishing trip when Desert Storm I took place. Yet now one word form the LSM about golfomatics frequent excursions.
Actually, truthfully, Obama had very little to do with taking down bin Laden.
1. Obama didn’t train the troops.
2. Obama didn’t plan the takedown.
3. OBAMA ONLY GAVE THE OKAY ....... A F T E R .. THE PLAN WAS ALREADY UNDERWAY AND OBAMA COULDN’T STOP IT. I believe the reason it was done this way was because Valerie Jarrett kept advising Obama NOT to do it.
Because of all that .. I pin the tail on Ms. Jarrett for the fiasco of the video - it’s production, it’s purpose, etc. I don’t have proof; but there’s been articles recently that the video was done for the sole purpose starting the process of tearing down FREEDOM OF SPEECH LAWS.
We know that Fast and Furious was used to try and establish very harsh GUN LAWS in America. I believe the video may have been used for the purpose of trashing FREEDOM OF SPEECH LAWS. And .. by the way .. is anybody else wondering why they jailed the video producer ..?? Maybe it was to shut him up - and to keep the media from interviewing him. There seems to be a pattern here of using false naratives to tear down the first and second amendments. We cannot allow that to happen.
But, typical of Obama, he had to take credit for taking down bin Laden. Obama’s constant comments regarding taking down bil Laden are the reason for the resurgence of the terrorists. HIS BRAGGING WAS THE REASON FOR THE MESS IN LIBYA .. and Obama (with Hillary’s help) sacrificed the lives of 4 of America’s best and brightest .. while we get stuck with the worst and dimest until January 20, 2013.
The dems better figure this out really quick: WE ARE NOT STUPID, even if some professor says people who watch FOX NEWS are “ignorant”.

Good question. I just read a review of the new Navy Seal account which pointed out that the first shot did not kill UBL: he was still lying on the floor writhing in pain. Several shots later he was dead. It’s obvious the Seals would have carried out whatever instructions they were given, i.e., capture alive if feasible, else kill. It’s clear from the Seal’s account that it was feasible to capture him alive.
So apart from blowing the intelligence we did get, we evidently missed a golden opportunity to gather substantially more through interrogations etc. (since such interrogations ultimately shook a lot of key intelligence out of KSM, for example).
Hopefully Romney will point out that Zero had no choice but to OK the killing of bin laden. To refuse to give the go-ahead would have been political suicide. And still he floundered in indecision.
Also, Zero’s SOP is to take all credit if something goes well, blame others (GWB, etc.) if it doesn’t. So Hussein knew he would emerge blameless in the media regardless of outcome of the UBL-kill operation, so it was a sure bet.
Also, Romney should point out the months of indecision Hussein had about the Afghanistan “surge” before finally going with half-measures, and then finally, handcuffing our troops with stupid rules of engagement resulting in chaos
and thousands of US casualties.
Not sure it’s a good idea to go after your opponent’s strength. The point that should be made is that Obama assumed that since Bin Laden was killed, he felt he didn’t have to worry about al qaeda anymore and that was refuted by Benghazi.
Obama has stated that he had hoped to try Osama in US Federal Court and grant Osama the rights that our citizens enjoy under our laws, the stated goal of this was supposedly to show how morally superior we were.
If cvaptured, we would never have been allowed to interrogate Osama.
He would have, under orders from Obama, been allowed to lawyer up and sit in an apartment blocks from the WTC site.
I don’t believe for a minute Obama got Osama.
There only two real possibilities:
Obama died years ago from his Kidney disease.
We have/had Obama in an underground facility somewhere. He may have died while in captivity.
That is why they can claim this concocted contrivance of convoluted reality that is so distorted no one can get their story straight on what happened.(alliteration deliberate).
He was already dead or he is in a dark forever, so he wasn’t going to be popping up and embarrassing anyone with his Karaoke threats.
There are sadly too many Amercians who do not understand the fundamental difference between Criminal Law and the Laws of War. They are not the same, and there are reasons for that.
War and Crime are two completely different things. Hint: Acts of war are not criminally illegal.
For US criminal courts -- including SCOTUS -- to pretend jurisdiction over war is a disturbing and arrogant power grab.

Osama was an unarmed combatant and should have been captured. obama takes credit for the murder. There are men sitting in Leavenworth prison for essentially the same thing. obama deserves the death penalty for premediatated murder.

Why was Osama buried at sea instead of being photographed and autopsied? In a high profile killing like this, showing the body is crucial for proof that he’s dead.
