Talk about the sullen presage of a campaign’s decay. Something was wrong with President Obama last night, to judge by his performance. Was Ohio on his mind? An AP story says that the Obama campaign is now talking about a way to win without taking the state...

I watch the debate after reading. You really do get a sense of what they’re thinking if you just concentrate on what they are thinking, then re-evaluate when watching the debate.

And you would be surprised how accurate your BS meter is just from reading.

The concept I thought of this morning to describe it: Bypassing Rabaul.

During WW2, the Japanese built a massive strategic base on the southwestern Pacific island of Rabaul, including a sizable airfield and massive troop concentrations. They were certain that any Allied attempts to move northwest from Australia would involve an attempted invasion of their island citadel, which they were fully prepared to resist.

We recognized this, and instead “island hopped” our way around Rabaul and left it behind. The forces on the island spent the rest of the war dodging bombs, growing their own food and twiddling their thumbs, all the while wondering what happened.

As Sun Tzu or Clausewitz might have said, don’t meet your enemy where he expects (or wants) you to.

Maybe it was what The Donald is set to reveal, but I don’t see how he could’ve been more condescending, childish, boorish and generally an a$$hole.

The God of the Mormons is the same as the Jewish and Christian GOD. The one TRUE God.

Wrong. Mormons believe that God was once a man and had physical sex with Mary. Mormons worship a false god, a false jesus and a false prophet.

I agree that Romney was very strategic last night. I know we were initially frustrated because he didn’t attack. But you could see Obama getting aggitated as the debate went on. I first noticed when on the first question, Romney complemented Obama on killing OBL. Obama rocked back in his chair and had a look of desparation on his face. Romney had circumvented on of his primary attacks.

The apology tour exchange totally devastated Obama.

This is a lie. Caddell and Schoen were on Hannity tonight and both claimed that Zero was way ahead in Ohio and was gonna win Wisconsin and has the election in the bag. And they cannot possibly be wrong. I mean, they are experts and all. /sarcasm

Disappointing to hear. I have a lot of respect for Caddell, not so much for Schoen.

I would imagine they are looking at internal polling. Sure hope they are wrong.

That picture of the bible and the guns is just rediculous. Seriously, that over the top imagery is why conservatives lose elections and why we lampooned like we do. I agree with sentiment but, can’t you just make a list of the ammendments of the constitution and leave it at that? Present yourself as the reasoned intellectual that you are..and your opinions will be more respected.

I guess the illegal immigrants have settled into Ohio just yet, then. Obama better get some more truck loads in there or the fraud won’t take hold.

I totally agree with this analysis. Bill O’Reily and others have just been jumping on Romney but, it was a loser in terms of appearing presidential. Heck, even Alan Colms throws enough BS upthere to muddy the situation. Romney was smart to avoid any and all petty arguments over Benghazi details, facts, and who said what and when.

The Benghazi situation is already killing Obama. There was no need for Romney to become part of the story. He’s already won the argument without engaging in it. How cool is that??

I bet Obama was pooring over Benghazi details, weaving his story, planning one-liners, and zingers for four straight days. It must have really pissed Obama off when Romney took a pass. Obama studied for the wrong test.

Again, I was very impressed with Romney’s strategy. The debate was like watching a big tall kid holding a ball above his and the little kid jumping in vain trying to get it and this was very very clear!!!

that’s the way things go when you stop and pray like Romney did prior to entering the debate. It’s hard to beat the strategy of Divine guidance!

Romney is not a Christian. That being said I am sure many Christians prayers were answered. Thank you LORD Jesus Christ, God come in the flesh. One and only God, the Holy Trinity, not other gods before The LORD God Almighty, who was never a man who worked his way up to becoming a god, but was always very God of very God. Amen.

Jesus said that there would be many false Christs. The Mormon god is definitely and most assuradly not the God of the Bible. The God of The Bible is the one and only God. There are no other gods anywhere, ever. He wasn’t a man who worked his way to becoming a god of this universe, while there may be many gods of other universes. No human being will ever become the god of their own universe or planet. There is only one God and He has been eternally God, forever and always will be the only God forever and ever on into eternity. He is The Almighty, Creator of all that ever was, or ever will be. The god of the Mormons is not the Christian God.

Did they? If so, that was rather a turnaround from their appearance on their own weekly show on Sunday afternoon.

Voter fraud already started in North Carolina too.

Voters saying their vote for Romney kept defaulting back to Obama.
