WASHINGTON (AP) — What gender gap? Less than two weeks out from Election Day, Republican Mitt Romney has erased President Barack Obama's 16-point advantage among women, a new Associated Press-GfK poll shows. And the president, in turn, has largely eliminated Romney's edge among men.
Those churning gender dynamics leave the presidential race still a virtual dead heat, with Romney favored by 47 percent of likely voters and Obama by 45 percent, a result within the poll's margin of sampling error, the survey shows.
After a commanding first debate performance and a generally good month, Romney has gained ground with Americans on a number of important fronts, including their confidence in how he would handle the economy and their impressions of his ability to understand their problems.

No, he attended parochial school and never went to college. His problem is his daughter is a militant lesbian. I either accept that as “normal” or I’m a hater. I pointed out that only recently did Obama change his position on that issue and that back in 2008 when my bro voted for him, Obama shared my opinion that marriage is between a man and a woman. I got no real response. But I never do when I present him with logic and facts.

I read something that says alot of these polls are projecting 80 to 90 percent of people will vote based on how they determine likely voter.. totaly unrealistic which means most of polls are crap. The article went onto say the only poll look good for likel voter model is rasmussen. The article went onto say that likely voters are not really likley voters and they including the unenthusiastic which means democrats are going to suprised on election day.

That’s a shame. The more I see it, the more I’ve come to the conclusion that the medical (psychiatric) community was essentially blackmailed and pressured beyond reason to reclassify homosexuality as within the realm of normalcy when it clearly is dysfunctional. The homosexuals I’ve come across were troubled individuals and no amount of “acceptance” will change that. It’s simply astonishing. Rather than try to treat the individual, they want to turn society upside down and bend the world to cater to their dysfunction. Now that’s sick.
Just as an aside, I can understand wanting to be supportive of a child... however, the support (for me) does not go so far as to toss out thousands of years of established social, religious and moral values that are the basic bedrock of society in that it “might” possibly make them feel better about themselves (and ultimately for most, it won’t), the example of the Cheneys. Where I part company with some FReepers is that I believe (aside from the psychological dysfunctional component) there is a genetic aspect as well (again, still dysfunctional) for many.
I have no doubt the next step after gay marriage will be the removal of protections for children for sexual predators (i.e. Jerry Sandusky’s actions wouldn’t even be considered criminal), bestiality and a whole rash of deviant behavior that supporters will demand the mainstreaming of so as to (as with gay marriage) make the dysfunctional folks feel “normal”, “accepted” and “not judged.” Then we’ll have the pervert Sodomesque utopia where the sickos are normal and those “judgmental Christians” demanding “standards” are the twisted deviants. Thank the good ole “liberal” mindset for it and we’re already too far down the path to it now. It’s why “liberalism” itself is a psychological dysfunction.

Absolutely; here in NJ we were fortunate enough to have a closeted gay governor dispel any myths about the “normalcy” of homosexuality. He plays no role in their movement, and probably was never offered one, because he was outed involuntarily. He had a family (his ex-wife later claimed she and their child were political props) and opposed gay marriage, while he was getting man love on the side.
