It seems to me the question should be why is the US (aka Obama the Commander in Chief) looking for bases to attack Iran and might that happen just before the election?

Now, the country of CYPRUS is in the Mediterranean and has two British bases on it, granted by treaty in 1960 when Cyprus gained its independence from the UK. It would be those bases the US might have asked to use— but I doubt it. This is more rocket rattle october surprise stuff. But the UN no doubt trying to help obamao.
