Fox News has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that three urgent requests from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. Consulate and subsequent attack nearly seven hours later were denied by officials in the CIA chain of command -- who also told the CIA operators to "stand down" rather than help the ambassador's team when shots were heard at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11. Former Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty were part of a small team who were at the CIA annex about a mile from the U.S. Consulate where Ambassador Chris Stevens and his team came under attack. When they heard the shots fired, they radioed to inform their higher-ups to tell them what they were hearing. They were told to "stand down," according to sources familiar with the exchange. An hour later, they called again to headquarters and were again told to "stand down."

Thank you. I had assumed the two ex-SEALS had been together. So the ex-SEAL coming from Tripoli makes it sound like a general alarm went off and was broadcast far and wide very early in the fighting, with only a few brave men heading to the battle.
Too bad the gunship commander also didn’t have the “F&*% it” attitude and help the guys on the ground.

That DID happen, instantly, from 9:40pm [Libya time, 3:40ESTpm Washington time]. Instantly, about 12 command centers, including the WH Situation Room, were alerted that Benghazi Consulate was under fire by a coordinated, preplanned Al -Qaeda-affiliated militia.

That brings me to the events of September 11 itself.
At approximately 9:40 pm local time, dozens of attackers launched a full-scale assault. They forced their way through the pedestrian gate, used diesel fuel to set fire to the Libyan 17th February Brigade members’ barracks, and then proceeded towards the main building.
A Diplomatic Security agent working in the Tactical Operations Center immediately activated the Imminent Danger Notification System. He also alerted the quick reaction security team stationed nearby, the Libyan 17th February Brigade, the Embassy in Tripoli, and the Diplomatic Security Command Center in Washington.

It’s alarming watching the clear-eyed liars in this administration. Really alarming.
I wonder how Beckel stands it...does he ever have a quiet moment when he just wonders what in the world is REALLY the truth about this administration? Denial is powerful and yet I always sense he’s struggling. Not with his liberal beliefs- but with what his party has become...and particularly, what this administration has done to it..
To me, anyone that denied these heroes help, should be brought in front of a firing squad....

No president or anyone knew more about our founding documents than President Jefferson.
So, when the Barbary Pirates refused to stop their acts of high sea piracy, he sent our Navy and marines in to kill and kick butt, Also to send a clear warning to other nations not to even consider aiding or sheltering pirates and future enemies of America.
Can actions as a CIA operative and no longer active military be eligible for the Metal of Honor?
The CIA has its Wall of Honor for agents. There is a star for each agent, who died protecting America.
Now, there is a Book of Honor to explain some of the stars.
