Election News from Wisconsin (notice the pic)

For those of you interested in how BarryObi thinks the race is going in the Badger State, I would tell you to be cautiously optimistic.

As a close follower of the previous elections, I posted earlier stats on the 2000, 2004, 2008 POTUS elections, and the June 6, 2012 Gov Walker recall election.

In 2000 Gore won the state by 5,000 votes out of 2.7 million cast

In 2004 Kerry won by 11,000 out of 2.9 million cast

In 2008 Obama won by 400,000 votes out of 2.9 million votes cast.

In June 2012, Scott Walker won the recall election by 170,000 votes out of 2.5 million votes cast.

As you can see, 2008 was the outlier election. The same number of votes were cast as in 2004, but the margin was almost 400,000 votes more for Obama than Kerry won by.

Will the turnout in 2012 be closer to 2.9 million or 2.5 million. I am assuming it will be closer to 2.9 million, but probably only 2.8 million this cycle. If so, and Romney gets all the votes Walker got, Obama would have to win 2 out of 3 of those extra 300,000 votes in order to win.

How is the Democrats vaunted GOTV effort going? Early voting ends Friday, and the GAB (our elections people) claims that the number of early votes will be more in 2012 than they were in 2008. We shall see about that. The weather has been cold, a little rainy last week, and very windy so far this week.

Working in MIlwaukee, I drive by one of Obama's campaign offices in the hood every day. I also drive by the local SEIU office. I have to tell you, I have not seen many people at all coming out of either place, The Obama office is visible from the street, so I took a pic. This week, I have not seen more than one person in this office at a time. If that is a good measure of the enthusiasm of Obama's core minority voters, he is in trouble.

As a matter of fact, I have. The recent crop of signs dumped here in E Iowa over the weekend by the UAW are also "UN Blue." But to add variety to the yards of the local Fuehrertreu, there are some of the darker blue '08 leftovers.

Different blues, yes... but they both indicate someone's willingness to confiscate from their neighbors via government what they don't have the balls to confiscate from their neighbors in person.

Notice how the corrupt MSM never calls out blantant racism by the left, like that sign in the window that says “African Americans for Obama”??? Imagine if a Romney campaign office had a sign that said “White Americans for Romney”!

Dead men don’t actually walk, only vote. Most of the voter fraud is cyber crime.

Green Bay Fans Will Give up Packers for Romney—but Not Obama

If Green Bay Packers fans are any indicator of how next Tuesday’s presidential election will go in Wisconsin, it could be a landslide for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.

Jeremy Segal of Rebel Pundit surveyed and crunched the numbers. He found that out of 106 Packers fans interviewed at Lambeau Field before game time this past Sunday, Romney took 62, Obama 37, and “Undecided” 7.

54% of Obama supporters would not give up rooting for the Packers for the rest of the season if doing so would guarantee an Obama victory. Only 24% would take Obama over the Packers, with 21% undecided.

In contrast, Romney supporters were more eager to see their candidate elected. 54% of Romney supporters would give up the Packers for a season to ensure a Romney win, while only 32% would not, and 13% were undecided.

See Rebel Pundit’s video and graphs HERE

Obama in Wisconsin Thursday
By

ASHWAUBENON, Wis. — President Obama’s campaign says he’ll make a stop in Wisconsin on Thursday.

The president is to make remarks on the tarmac at Austin Straubel International Airport near Green Bay.

Obama canceled a campaign stop in Green Bay Tuesday. His campaign says those tickets will be honored at the airport appearance. Other tickets are available Wednesday on a first-come, first-served basis at campaign offices in Green Bay, Appleton and Oshkosh.

Gates for Thursday’s appearance open at 8:30 a.m.

Something tells me “the tarmac at Austin Straubel International Airport” will hold fewer people than the intended location for the cancelled campaign stop in Green Bay.
