Like it or not, that *is* the bottom line.

Now or never.

Normally I vote on Election Day but I knew I was having extensive foot surgery and might not be mobiile on Election Day so I voted by absentee ballot. My husband will be out of town on Election Day so he voted by absentee ballot, too. We both voted for Romney/Ryan.

Go to your county registrar of voters and vote early, in person.

We voted and also found a website that allows you to verify that your mail in ballot was received and logged.

There appear to still be children who are banging their fists and feetsies against the floor and threatening to hold their breaths until we get a candidate that meets their liking.

If giving obozo a second term is the only way to send their “message” well, then that is just the price.

Heck, even Reagan could not pass today’s FR “Are you a Conservative” test.

I gave up tantrums decades ago when I met the hard brick wall of reality.

‘You can’t always get what you want...’

This is about more than what *I* would’ve preferred.

0 means to destroy the US.

I take that personally.

Nope. I only vote on election day; I don’t particularly want to give the enemy an opportunity to know how many ballots they have to stuff in the box to win.

How can early or absentee voting, combined with the ability to register at the polls, not bastardize the system?

Its the same empowerment snake oil they used to sell the 17th amendment. I'm sure the democrats are happy to get a heads up on how many votes they need to create.

My husband and I voted a week ago and I heard on the news last night that 153,000 people in Albuquerque (pop around 500,000+or-) already early voted!

Of course in this area bozo is leading, but it shows people are getting out there and voting.

Sadly there are people here at FR (not you of course — they know who they are) who never quite grew up to come to the conclusions about reality.

>>0 means to destroy the US.

As do I. And hopefully enough Americans to give Romney the win.

I plan to vote on Election Day. Early voting makes me nervous, as it seems like just one more way for the Rats to cheat.

Well aren't you special!

Husband and I both voted early. Because of circumstances we are never able to say with certainty that we will be at home on an election day.

I voted last night in Woods Cross, Utah. Heavy turnout...with a Mormon at the top of the ticket, this will be a blow out year for all Utah Republicans.

We always vote early. I am not certain that votes cast early are counted until after the polls close on election day. Does anyone know for sure?

Early votes are the first to be reported on the Texas SOS voting totals site..after the polls close. IIRC
