Obama is Christie's Brownie
Vanity | 11/2/12 | me

Posted on 11/02/2012 4:22:36 AM PDT by spacejunkie2001

Anyone seeing Obama become Christie's Brownie right before our very eyes? Christie overtly touting Obama as doing a great job, most fantastic guy ever, blah blah blah. And the contrast of what's going on there in NJ, in particular, is stunning. Utility workers turned away because they aren't union (holy crap), no food, water or gas; no response for many of them and the desperation is starting to top the charts.

Obama and Christie will go down as huge failures on this catastrophe and it serves Christie right for touting Obama as the best thing to happen to the US right before the election.

I just learned about that. Did Christie authorize this refusal - or was it some Union boss in Newark? Did the Gov. know about it - how come this was not resolved before the guys left Alabama?

That’s not a bad theory.

All this Christie hate is misdirected. I’m using his magnanimity to great affect in contrast with Gov Blanco and Mayor Nagin’s treatment of George Bush. Showing it’s Republicans that can work with everyone in a crisis and not just play the blame game.

Yeah, and Obama wasted that day in a state he supposedly already had, instead of spending it in a toss-up state. I agree - it WAS smart!

Nothing he did with Obama actually helped his State!

So save the sacrimonious attitude.

I think all Freepers would be happy to see Christie punch Obama in his girly nose.

Ok, that ain't going to happen.

We all know that the media is going to try to make the Republican Governor look bad to the best of their ability, no matter what he does.

Given that fact, why let Obama sit in Washington and cheer them on?

Get him in a bear hug, and now anything that goes wrong (gas lines, dumpster diving, etc) punches Bama's ticket at the same time.

Freeperland is politics without consequences. That is to say, it's just a marketing meeting where perfect ideas never meet reality.

Christie is governor where the 47% control most of the state, and people's lives are at stake. Get real folks.

“I guess what I want to know is, WTF is Christie doing?? It’s almost like he’s trying to sabotage Romney with his over the top a$$ kissing of odumbo.”

What is Christie doing? O’Reilly said that Christie and Obama were “doing the lambada”.

On Rush, it was mentioned that Christie just might be sabotaging Romney. Christie wants to run for President in 2016. He knows that if Romney wins it’ll probably be 8 years of Romney, then 8 years of Ryan. Sixteen years is a long time to wait if you’re an attention whore like Christie.

Yes but did Chris KissME really have to have a love sloberfest over king BOZerO?
That was over the top praising him so much for showing up and all that photo_op BS biz. Anything Hussein touches turns to disaster anyway. CC could have toned it way down with Barry if that was his kissup strategy.

This, imo, was the perfect time for him to get revenge on Romney for not giving him the job he wanted in his administration.

No way to know for sure but he way, way, way too friendly with 0 for it not be something along those lines.

Probably some disgruntled union workers acting stupid in a time of crisis.

I worked in disaster relief and know many disaster volunteers that travel to the disaster scenes. I know two who will tell you that the people of New Jersey are totally obnoxious and the worst in America for working with in a disaster.

They will not go back to New Jersey in a disaster volunteer capacity and warn all who go what is coming. That is, be prepared for a terrible experience with terrible people.

The electric workers incident is just proof of the typical.

-——Nothing he did with Obama actually helped his State!-—

You do not know that to be true. You are fabricating a malicious construct to justify your own small minded view.

You have no clue of what was discussed or transpired off camera or front page. The fact is you just plain don’t know what you are talking about.

Last night I called Decatur Utilities in AL to say both sorry and thank them for sending the help. I read that Long Island accepted their help-—they need it too. I have family there needing power restored. Unions are scum,

I’ll be sure to tell my two sons how terrible NJ folks are.

One just got off a 22 hour shift guarding downed utility lines in Monmouth County. That’s after working two 16 hour shifts on Tuesday and Wednesday. He has been organizing relief efforts on Facebook via smartphone as well.

The other son works for the Borough of Seaside Heights, who finally got to his job yesterday for the first time and said the place looks like Afghanistan.

Both have been living without power since Monday. And no gasoline, heat, etc.

The son on downed line duty says folks have brought him food and coffee; the other says the police in Seaside Heights have worked non-stop to rescue folks event though they lost everything themselves.

Let me add a nephew in the NJ National Guard who was called up on Tuesday for storm relief.

Are folks in NJ obnoxious? Damn straight they are. Try living in a small state with 8 million other people. They are also the worst drivers in the world. But there are no better folks to have in a foxhole with you.

I sent that link to Fox and Friends and to Gov. Christie’s office about the Alabama crews being turned away—that is infuriating.

We had our moments during Sandy here in southern DE, but we came through OK.

It is frustrating as hell to watch the devastation and not being able to help.

But I know of many citizen led relief efforts that are underway now in Jersey. They aren’t waiting for FEMA, Obama, and Christie either.

God bless them all. Even the obnoxious need prayer.

maybe, on the other hand, Christie is a genius and saw just exactly how this would play out!

You mean, watching relief crews from Alabama get sent out of the state was planned?

Here in Monmouth county...

Most people still have no electric.
The wait for gas if you're lucky enough to get it can be from 1 to 4 hours.
Crews that came from other states have been sent away for not being union.

Our shoreline has been decimated.
Governor Christie would be crucified if he turned away help.

I haven't seen NJ senators Menendez or Lautenberg out there demanding help.
(sure would be a different story if Bush was president)

People in NJ do get to see and hear campaign ads from Menendez constantly though.

Jeb Bush had no business letting that hurricane get past Florida either.

You can clearly see how the chemtrails from Katrina generated by that secret weather machine in Cheney’s basement pushed those airplanes into the WTC with the innocent terrorists kidnapped by Richard Nixon’s alien clone from the Roswell crash  while Ronald Reagan planted the thermite explosives in black helicopters during area 51 time travel experiments filming Bed Time for Bonzo with the help of Romney’s father...
