Obama is Christie's Brownie
Vanity | 11/2/12 | me

Anyone seeing Obama become Christie's Brownie right before our very eyes? Christie overtly touting Obama as doing a great job, most fantastic guy ever, blah blah blah. And the contrast of what's going on there in NJ, in particular, is stunning. Utility workers turned away because they aren't union (holy crap), no food, water or gas; no response for many of them and the desperation is starting to top the charts.

Obama and Christie will go down as huge failures on this catastrophe and it serves Christie right for touting Obama as the best thing to happen to the US right before the election.

Governor Christie is not the one who turned away non-union crews.

Obviously NJ needs a Right To Work law if only for public safety.

I do know that to be true since the entire action was nothing but a series of photo-ops that had no real practical effect on the State.

You think Obama actually seeing some damage changed anything?

No, the aid was coming regardless of what Christie did.

Christie should have been more concerned about getting non-union workers into the State to help it, that would have been useful.

So, the fact is, Christie enjoyed being the poster boy for 'overcoming politics for the good of his State' when all he did was make a fool of himself.

No is begrudging Christie doing his job as Gov and doing what he can to get aid for it.

But he didn't have to make a point of praising Obama and the Federal Government as if they actually did something!

What did they do but PROMISE aid, and Obama is good at that!

He is still responsible for making sure they were allowed to work.

I guess Christie and Obama do have alot in common, neither seems responsible for anything.

The standard bearer for Capitalism in this election has promised the he, personally, will "create 12 million jobs!"

I know he knows that the president can't actually create jobs, but that's the dialect that people use.

Don't you see how the lay of the land requires politicians on both sides to communicate to the least-common-denominator dummy now, and expect the rest of us to know the reality?

Instead of replacing Bush/Katrina with Christie/Sandy, we could very well have Obama/Sandy deal up that favorite talking point. We'll sure see!

btw, if Christie's mere glad handing tilts the election? We were toast anyhow.

Really? Do you hear yourself? The governor nor the president are responsible for every single paycheck and repair ticket!!!

If the President decreed that all Stop signs in the country are temporarily designated Yield signs for an emergency, do you think every cop and deputy sheriff and truck driver and soccer mom would adapt overnight?

The union laws are in place, and low level lackeys love them.

Will this provide a wealth of bad advertising for union mentalities in a deep-blue union-loving state? Hell yeah!

Maybe there will be some reconsideration of union laws in New Jersey now?

The Republican establishment is calling New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, Judas Christie, as he prances over puddles with President Obama, as they both pretend to be playing important roles in the recovery from Hurricane Sandy.

Jeb Bush had no business letting that hurricane get past Florida either.

I'll be sending him a very harsh email shortly...
