Impeach, impeach and again I say, impeach.
Of course Obama cannot be in the situation room......he needs an aliby/fall guy for Benghazi.
It wasn’t his fault everyone was told to stand down......it was Bush’s....er Romney’s....er Congress....or whomever we can pin this on to ensure the Protected One remains virgin.
bump
The Empty Chair is dereliction of duty.
“Article 92 also applies to service members whose acts or omissions rise to the level of criminally negligent behavior.
Dereliction of duty may also be used to describe an elected official failing to perform his duty.
Dereliction of duty is a specific offense under United States Code Title 10,892. Article 92 and applies to all branches of the US military. A service member who is derelict has willfully refused to perform his duties (or follow a given order) or has incapacitated himself in such a way that he cannot perform his duties. Such incapacitation includes the person falling asleep while on duty requiring wakefulness, his getting drunk or otherwise intoxicated and consequently being unable to perform his duties, or his vacating his post contrary to regulations. Article 92 also applies to service members whose acts or omissions rise to the level of criminally negligent behavior.-wiki
If an elected official is found guilty of dereliction of duty, he may be impeached
Again, pathetic, how we have a slacker president in the White House.
I would dearly love for that to happen, but doubt that it ever will with the dems having the senate.
As that was happening, Panetta and Army Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, left the Oval Office and went into a series of meetings...
These men have to go. They have also carelessly set up the conditions to put Taliban on the Afghanistan bases resulting in the murders of US troops and the bombing of US airplanes. They have killed troops in multiple incidents, not changing course from one “mistake” of murder to the next. Obama, sadly the CIC, was wrong to delegate such a decision to them.
I don’t think that will ever happen..... the dems own the senate.
Great reporting, again.!
By all means let us extend ourselves to give cover to the untouchable one, the fuhgetaboutit, out-of-the-question Hillary. I mean the Ambassador was only under the pervue of the smartest woman in the world, Hillary Clinton’s U.S.State Department, to whom Stevens and Woods, and the third man cabled again and again for more security to be met with, “Don’t even go there.”
It was powerful. My reaction listening to first obama praising him for it, but then his talking about what he did and why, man, I got such a lump in my throat and almost teared up.
I guess such a swing from anger to admiration and respect for his sheer courage and heroics to do the right thing no matter what to save all those people and leave no one behind shook me up, the difference/contrast between them, their integrity and who gives and who takes the orders...it was too much.
The truth must come out and the Pentagon owes it to its own and to us to do what they can to make it happen.
The principles involved are the essence of what we are and what is at stake.
Very true, but with the Chicago Tribune article I just posted, Obama spent less than 1 hour involved in this serious situation. Panetta was back at the Pentagon by 6 pm.
The point is, Obama SHOULD have been in the situation room. A consulate is considered American soil, an Ambassador has diplomatic immunity, so in essence our country was UNDER ATTACK. If that does not call for a trip to the situation room, I do not know what does.
Does it matter anymore?
If the BFN is planning no budget, increased taxes, enforcement of healthcare against the will of the people, the least we could do as is make a big stink about Benghazi to the point of impeachment.
I’ve been wondering the same thing, lately...sadly, I don’t think it does matter any more.
