I watched it in the IMAX theater.

It was better than “Quantum of Solace”.

About guns in the film...Was the rifle used by Eve, at the start of the movie, AR-15?
PPK that could only be used by Bond...Reminds me of a similar firearm in “Licence to Kill”.

Saw it last night. It was good. He’s a good bond. Only had sex with 2 women, didnt see if he wore a condom... He’s good looking unless you think of Putin while you look at him, which ruins it.

First movie in the Bond series to not have a companion book. In fact no book has been written in a few years. There are however books never made into movies. Hope it is good.

I know nothing of Bond movies made in the last ten years, but I was really in hog heaven when my G-Sat ran ALL of the early Bond movies last month. I lost count of how many they ran, and repeated several times of the day over several weeks.

Saw it Sunday. Someone has to say it. Movie was bad. Daniel Craig is an awful bond. Virtually no character. Best part was listening the the title song by Adele in Imax during first 5 minutes.. Then it was all downhill.

I have not seen the picture so have no first hand experience, but I have read this is a new more sensitive Bond with exploring his childhood as well as a scene that might be interpreted as sexually ambiguous. Freeper comments welcome from those who have seen the movie.

We saw it Friday night.

I liked it.

Daniel Craig is a different sort of Bond, but he’s believable enough. There are little bits tying him to the old bond plotlines, although I thought the vintage Aston Martin was a little over the top. Admittedly, they did work it into the plot in as believable a way as they probably could.

I thought the plot revealing a bit of his childhood was a good storyline, and the bit with Eve (I won’t reveal her last name for those who haven’t seen it) was also good.

Connery is my favorite, of course. I disliked Moore, especially the comedy they or he used, but I can still watch those Bond films. I didn’t even mind Dalton or Moore - each had a different take. The Bond character is complex enough that each actor can bring a different spin and still make it work, or at least they have so far.

I see Daniel Craig as playing Charlie Brown, not Bond.

These latest Bond movies are nothing but brute force, blunt object fights and chases. There is no intelligence written into this Bond.....he’s just a dumb jock.

Fleming wrote Bond to be super-special, athletic, brilliant and charming all as one. That is why it was special to become a Double-0......you were not just a spy, you were the elite with a specific purpose and used only for the most intractible situations.

Saw it Saturday and I loved it. Craig is a great Bond. Bond is a hired killer a mass murderer that we love to root for and I find that very interesting. It should not be something you take the kids to see.

I really like the darker, rougher Bond and I've always felt that the producers should have gone for an R rating and taken the franchise into strictly adult territory. I give this Bond five out of five stars!

The movie breaks from the Bond tradition in that the opening chase scene is not just a standalone, but is part of the rest of the story.

I’m shocked, shocked, that people here admit to patronizing Hollyweird!

My idea of taking fight to the enemy is Not Giving Them a penny or a glass of water, ever.

Nothing. No HBO, Universal, NFL, NBA...Nothing.

Rediscover Life. Seems people here have hobbies, read and etc.

Why feed the beast? Starve the beast.
