Based on everything I know about him (not a lot, but I agree with him in every video I’ve seen), I’d back Whittle in a run for the Presidency.

The message I hear from most Republicans is “I want to be elected. I deserve to be President (or whatever office they are running for). I’d like to keep myself and my buddies in power.”
That message is one they believe.
I like Bill Whittle. He’s a good communicator, he’s humorous, he’ erudite and he’s a thinker. I reccomend almost all of his videos (although the one about world soccer was frankly well beneath him)
I like BW but I’m gonna play “hard to get” no matter who it is.
That’s the longest “I Surrender” speech I’ve ever heard. Give up on politics?

If I had to vote today, I’d vote for Bill Whittle. Seriously. I tried to find out more about him on Wikipedia, but his page was deleted. He’s “not important enough” to have his own page. That tells me that the left fears him. A good sign.
We The People have yet to admit why the DNC went to such lengths this time in cheating to win. The fraudulent votes were in very significant numbers and way out of line with the turnout, risking discovery and outrageous response which could literally end the democrap party. Why did they go to that extreme in this election? ... Their masters believe they have now reached the point where crfiminal demons like Eric Holder can give the criminality enough cover to prevent insurrection, AND these same evil bastards believe the people have been dumbed down sufficiently to not be a threat to the masters. No doubt there are many more aspects to thereasoning of these globalist demons, but the tip of the deadly demise of America as a Republic with we the people as the sovereigns is now unfolding right before our eyes and the feckless Republicants really don't seem to mind and are too timid to resist the abortion of the Republic. 'Men' like Gen Betrayus are a strong indication that blackmail has tipped the scales of justice out of favor for the People who have been usurped. Duty, Honor, Country has a whole new meaning.
My wife and I watched this last night. Mostly great! BW is on target and inspiring. Would that we had someone like him for head of the RNC. However, I have one criticism… He spoke (correctly in my opinion) about needing virtuous people and that the crisis in our nation is of one of morality. However, after mentioning it, he never returns to the subject again. If morality and virtue are the real crisis, then let’s address that topic primarily. Who really among conservatives is talking about this? What are we going to do to produce virtuous and moral individuals that will vote for moral, honest men and women? They will not be produced with more capitalism and great websites. I just read here on FR that evangelicals’ influence on elections has dropped a great deal since the days of the Moral Majority. I heard no mention of real repentance as a nation - or even from just within our party in this BW video. The great revivals of the past produced changes in our cultural. I think in 1912 or 1914 in the city of Chicago all businesses shut down at noon to allow all workers to go and pray in the church/temple of their choice. That’s not happening today. I think we might want the benefits of a moral nation without the hard work of relating to God. We want America “saved” for our way of life. But do we want to get right with our Creator? Few want to touch this topic. Remember what these great men stated regarding our nation:
John Adams - We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion… Our Constitution was made for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other. Benjamin Rush - The only foundation for a useful education in a republic is to be aid in religion. Without this there can be NO virtue, and without virtue there can be no liberty, and liberty is the object and life of all republican governments. Without religion, I believe that learning does real mischief to the morals and principles of mankind. Noah Webster - [T]he Christian religion, in its purity, is the basis, or rather the source of all genuine freedom in government. . . . and I am persuaded that no civil government of a republican form can exist and be durable in which the principles of that religion have not a controlling influence.
Do you really think this Republic can be saved without the same mind and heart that these men possessed? Can you imagine what it would take to return us as a nation to their same attitude? In light of these facts, it’s hard to be optimistic about our country.

Today I was thinking about his speech, “as president”, re the murders in Benghazi. I visually compared what he said (all the right things, and tough) to what really happened. All I could see was Hussein, Hillary, Jarrett, et al., sitting in the Situation Room for 7-8 hours, eating popcorn, and laughing as they watched Americans being murdered. Quite a sickening image.
Whittle is absolutely correct to note that politics cannot trump culture. If the culture is corrupt, then forget about "good government." We get the government we "deserve."
And indeed, the big message I take away from the 2012 presidential election is that 52% of the American people returned the single most corrupt administration in the history of our nation to office for another four years. They either don't know that the president lies to them routinely, or they don't care — as long as they can get their "bennies" at somebody else's expense.
0bama's first public act was to lie: I am referring to his Presidential Oath, wherein he pledged to uphold and defend the Constitution. Obviously, that was a lie. And he's been lying to us ever since.
I honestly believe he feels that if he tells a lie often enough, it somehow becomes "true." That is, rhetoric can actually transform reality.
Yet I think Whittle's observation about the challenge the Information Age poses to a sclerotic, top-down, centralizing federal government is on the mark. If Washington can't control the free propagation of information, they really can't control much else. I'm sure they'll try. Or maybe they'll "lead from behind" one more time and use the UN to push for controls on the Internet....
Anyhoot, I really do believe things are going to have to get a whole lot WORSE before they can get better, if ever. Let the chickens come home to roost, I say — and lay the blame on feckless, unprincipled politicians and their mindless supporters, just as Whittle suggests: "Hey, this is what you voted for. Now you can see the consequences that you have to live with."
