He seems desperate to win reelection and is making all the wrong moves.

He might be scoring a few points with the libs but they’ll still vote for their commie. And the conservatives will likely stay home. Christie will be gone soon and we’ll probably never hear from him again.

I'll always believe that his Obama Victory Tour cost Romney the election, and arguably cost us the country.

He’d better cozy up really well and become the democrat he is because he isn’t going to get any help grom conservative republicans next time around.

You’ve apparently never heard of William Howard Taft. ;)

Circus-fat Christie belongs on late night ‘comedy’ shows.

I never watch the so-called,late night ‘comedy’ shows.

“Democrats are going to try to build Christie up, knowing he’ll be easy to knock down if the GOP is stupid enough to nominate him in 2016.”

Yessir. Him and about nine other relative conservatives against some blue state liberal Republican.

--- What’s SNL? ---

For real humor, that doesn't go for the cheap dirty jokes, try Tim Hawkins. You can check him out on YouTube, but I recommend his DVD. You'll laugh non-stop for an hour.

The big plus is that he comes from a Christian background. It comes through gently. He even pokes fun at us, but when he does it, it's actually funny. It's not mean-spirited.

I HIGHLY recommend it as a gift to Christian and non-Christian teens and twenty-somethings. Tim shows that Christians can be "cool." And that's important for teenage evangelization.

I dont think he helped obama, obama STOLE the election. 141% turnouts? Something like 50 districts with not one vote for Romney?

Who was it that said something to the effect, it doesnt matter who votes, what matters is who counts the votes?

Do you know anyone who voted for Obama because of Christie?

Me neither.

Sarah Palin went on SNL as well. I think most Republicans just like the show.

President Taft was said to have weighed 335 pounds when he was president, and he may not have been nearly as tall as Gov Christie.

Christie's embrace of Obama gave Obama a bounce that played out in the same way as his post-convention bounce.

Romney was up by 3-4 before Sandy. A couple of days after Christie campaigned with Obama, Obama was up by a couple of points. A day before the election, the effect was beginning to taper off, as Obama's lead shrunk to a point. Given a few more days, Romney would have been back in the lead.

But time ran out.

Exit polls showed that 40% of voters ranked Obama's "performance" during Sandy to be "highly important" in their voting decision. Why? Because they're stupid. But that's the reality we have to work with.

Christie could have denied the photo op to Obama, like Bloomberg did. Not only did he give Obama a photo-op, he gave him a big wet kiss, letting Zero strut around in his presidentin' jacket.

Christie's dead to me now.

I don’t think it’s an either/or, but rather ‘and’ situation.

I have watched SNL almost every Saturday night since it's inception. Yeah it is liberal, sometimes disgustingly so but I still watch. Sometimes they make me mad but sometimes I laugh my butt off. They have some new folks on there now, we shall see how it goes.

One of the SNL regular actors (can't remember his name rite now) was on another show last season called Portlandia. Either Dish network dropped it because it was too insulting to liberals or it just didn't get rehired, but it was fantastic. Anyone ever watch Portlandia the spoof on Portland Oregon liberals?

Of all the politicians who have appeared on that show over the years, Christie was far and away the most comfortable and natural appearing. He made the segment his, and the “anchor” kind of disappeared into the background. It was a very impressive performance. (Then I went to bed.) We need to cultivate more people like him with media smarts, people who don’t look like they are at the dentist anticipating a root canal when they appear on TV. Like Christie or not, he nailed it.
