The huge explosion that flattened homes and killed two people on Nov. 10 in Indianapolis is now being investigated as a homicide case, authorities said at a press conference Monday night.

Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry appealed to the public for information about a white van that was seen in the area, NBC affiliate WTHR reported. He said the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is assisting with the case.

"While the fire investigation has been progressing, there has been a parallel investigation, not solely focusing on the cause of the explosion but focusing on individuals who may have been responsible once accidental causes were eliminated," Curry said. "That investigation has consisted of numerous interviews with various individuals as well as execution of a number of search."

The interviews and search warrants are why the investigation is considered an active criminal homicide investigation, Curry said...

The neighborhoods of the perps do not register as high explosive experts.

Fox59 has confirmed Bob Leonard and David Gill are being questioned by police.

If charged and proven guilty, which is quite likely, I hope the perps sre executed promptly.

Congratulations Butler University for your victory over the UNC Tarheels. How sweet it is!

"I know.

BTW, that was not my post.

I saw nothing that indicated it wasn't.

I also know that Keepers Of Odd Knowledge believe Beech Grove is a "secret government internment camp".

problem was too much gas filled up in the basement of the house because it was warm outside..thus creating a quake that showed up on an earthquake meter 30 miles away when the furnace finally kicked on.

Yes and no. Too much gas and there will not be combustion. What bothered me was the flame pattern on the foundation.

This just sounds like they are trying to find an official person to charge with homicide. It HAS to be a homicide, because that nice teacher and her husband died, and a neighborhood blew up. It couldn’t possibly just be an accident involving a house filled with gas, which found an ignition source.

Agreed. This was a "city" owned gas company. That is another factor that is involved with this tragedy.

Agreed. The flame pattern bothers me. I would like to know the distribution pressure for the development. A visual on the size of the regulators would be helpful if anyone knows?

Yeah, I kind of live in the valley. Answer the question. Are there FEMA camps or not? Who knows?

I also live in the area described and his description is accurate. It is indeed a holding facility meant to keep people in and has direct rail access. If you go around it you will be stopped and yes they have black unmarked helicopters. The site has been operational, guarded and yet unoccupied for years now. I was taken through the facility to make repairs on equipment and I am sure its a detention facility.

Honestly, if anyone ever moves in next door to me with a white van, I might get a pit bull.
