My score: 90 out of 96, 94%. How 'bout you?

IMHO, requiring only 58 correct answers sets a very low bar.

Of course NO ONE should be allowed to be a citizen without knowing who Susan B. Anthony was. I think she wrote the Constitution didn’t she?

The truly depressing thing for me is that as elementary as these questions are to understanding how the government works, it would be cast as racist, discriminatory and unacceptable by one of the two major political parties if you advocated the same standard be met before being allowed to vote. Even if you lowered the passing grade to one correct out of 96, it would still be “racist”.

Two, repeat two pages to open per question, one per question and one per answer?

Either the worst web design in recent history or the most blatent attempt to gather hits in history.

Someone on dial-up would take a week to finish this. To get 58 correct, you will need to view 116 pages assuming that you get none wrong.

It was a good test but the format was awful. It took way longer than it should have.

A basic test like this should be a requirement for voting ... Oh wait , then we'd never have elected 0boober....never mind.

91 of 96 - 95%...

We ought be required to pass a citizenship test and take the oath of citizenship once every 5 years or so, with a mechanism in place for enforcing violations; a swift ejection system for non-compliant enemies of the republic.

As it stands, is it legal or not for Communists to hold public office in the United States?

12 years after becoming a citizen, I thought it would be fun to take the test again. I missed the question on the deadline to file income taxes! LOL! I think I must have clicked the wrong choice, I know that I know when the taxes are due!

I agree, only 58 correct answers is a very low bar. Also, if you didn't know it, you can choose to take the test in your native language. What happened to being proficient in English?

I don’t have to take this test...I’m already a US citizen.

Don’t get sidetracked. Let’s concentrate on illegal aliens, shall we?

Pass an citizensip test? Sure, I can show MY birth certificate. How about Obama and or the other 20 million illegal aliens?

I scored 98%. I would like to point out that many of the questions could be answered differently than the choices given. I can smell the political correctness in it.

All 96 correct here.

A few years ago at just about this time of year, a gaggle of teen girls were at the shopping mall, asking people to answer ten questions that had been pulled from this test (part of some school project, no doubt). Apparently I was the first person they'd encountered that answered all ten correctly.

How very depressing.

that page loads way too slow to do all 96

8 out of 8 before I quit, and that took 10 minutes to load

94 of 96, and I was just flat-out careless on one of the two I missed...calculated me at 98%.

I had to pass this test in my eighth grade government class to earn an A. I don’t think I missed a single question.

“You answered 93 of 96 questions correctly for a total score of 97%.”

This test should be mandatory for any government official. Only, require 85% or better. Come on obummer, release the score of your citizenship test results.
