Kyl (& Sen. Hutchison) Suggest Benghazi 'Cover-Up'

Kyl suggests Benghazi 'cover-up'

Sen. Jon Kyl, (R-Ariz.) suggests the Obama administration orchestrated a "cover-up" of the events that led to the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi that left U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans dead. "There are three questions that have to be answered," Kyl said in an interview aired Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union," appearing on a panel with three other retiring senators. "Why weren't the warnings about the need for security heeded? Why weren't the requests for help during the ted attack answered and why did the administration think it had to cover up all the things that occurred before by putting out to the American people a narrative that I think will turn out to be absolutely false?"

Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-Texas), agreed, saying that more than 10 days after the deadly attack, "top level people" were disseminating incorrect information.

"I am very concerned about the fact that on Sept. 11 this happened, and on Sept. 20, the Senate was given a classified briefing and they were still, the top level people were still telling us the same thing. They were telling us things that we knew, that we even saw in the press were not correct information," she said. "Now, Benghazi was a consulate. it wasn't a full embassy. I think if we have learned one thing, it is that maybe we should close consulates and give the full protection to our ambassadors who were willing to risk this kind of upheaval, so i do think we need to go into this in depth. I think this if there were military people trying to get in and they were being told no, no, no repeatedly we need to fix that."

Both Kyl and Hutchison I guess feel more free to speak their minds now that they will be leaving office early after the new year.

“Benghazi coverup?” It only took two an one half months for the geniuses in DC to figure out what we knew immediately! I guess better late than never.

Everyone will act “oh so surprised” when
al Qaeda actually uses the Obama=supplied MANPADS
to take out aircraft. The MSM will be, of course,
fixated on ... the weather.

I stopped reading after “three retiring senators”. It should have said “since no senator in office has an ounce of courage or gives a damn about this country, three retiring senators are all we could get to discuss the situation.”

The entire Barry Benghazi regime is one big cover-up but everyone is afraid to do anything about it for fear of being called a “rasis” by the white boy commie thugs.

Within two hours of finding out, I knew there was a cover up as the people out in the streets were not acting as they did when the Space shuttle blew up.

Our ambassador was killed in-country and people don’t know how to react without the propaganda media telling them how to. And the media covered it up.

As much as they could.

If the GOP dheads, McCain the insane and graham think they can cover it up and side with the enemy, such as it is, they’re going to find out later that they can not. the enemy is watching us toss this around like Larry, Moe & Curly trying to unload a hot potato.

We will pay for it.

Kyl & Hutchinson and some investigative journalists will be wise to fix it. If they don’t, the next generation will have to after it becomes more difficult/impossible. Tey’ll be too busy paying for Obama
s vote debt at that point.

How much do we want t keep piling onto these kids?

I am deeply suspicious of the motives of retiring senators.

If you really hate a ship and want to destroy it, what better way than to appoint yourself its captain, and steer it into the rocks?

The bottom line to Benghazi is “so what?” Given that the US is facing disastrous crises like Obamacare, horrific levels of debt, massive new taxes, terribly high unemployment, etc., etc., it is a darned *shame* that four Americans were killed, but there is not a damned thing we can do about it after the fact.

Committing any time to Benghazi, by anyone, is just wasting time. Like Monica Lewinsky’s dress when the Clintons had been committing major offenses, felonies, all over the map, that were then all swept under the rug by Ken Starr.

“Oooo! Look! The president *lied* about getting serviced by a chunky intern! This is sooooo much more important than that other stuff.”

No it wasn’t. Just like Benghazi doesn’t amount to a hill of beans compared to “the other stuff” that could severely damage the United States.

It...doesn’t...matter...

Lame duck retiring senators, you were for the most part worthless as senators. You cannot redeem yourselves in the last two months before you go. So at least please do not hurt our country any more by wasting the precious time needed to fend off impending disasters.

............................................................

That would have been the truth, Do you really expect the truth from the Media?

In fact it is a national embarrassment that the Congress (both parties)are filled with liars and cowards.

Dems frightened to do anything but vote the party line and Republicans afraid to bring out the truth.

I am ashamed of our Government, the Obama Administration, and the Congress of the last 4 years.

Proud of my country, but not proud of the way it is going.

SO WHAT? That bus done left the station.

If they’d hoped to throw somebody under it (Obama, Clinton, etc)...they’re quite a few days late, and four Americans in the red.

Benghazigate will disappear down the same hidey-hole that swallowed up Fast and Furious.

And I would add numbers 4 and 5

Why did this administration choose a false narrative that actually increased Muslim extremist rage against the US ?

Why did this administration choose a false narrative that attacked freedom of speech rights within the US ?

Politico is still in denial that their great golden boy is a sh!tty president even worse than Jimmy Carter and that they helped him get re-elected and know that he will only cause 4 more years of misery.

So much for Obaumunist TRANSPARENCY.

Can’t the GOP enlist the services of a black female, handicapped gay white guy or lesbian Hispanic female Congress critter to go after Susan Rice? Two can play at this game.

Benghazi will live on in the minds of the enemy, the Muzbros..the way we react to it shows them we are more like the Three Stoooges than like Jack Bauer in this arena, for the moment (with this admin) so it will NOT go away.

Egypt has been taken over by a dictator as soon as Hillary left the country, she’s an idiot wimp. they know it, and here the McLaughlin group is talking about how good she is and that she’ll win in 2016.

It’s too much for me.

Anyway. Benghazi cannot be covered up because it is on the Arab stage. As long as we cover it up, the less respect they have for us.

No, we can never go far enough. What if a Republican had freed the slaves? Only then would it be enough.

Oh, yeah one did.

What if GOP had the first black State dept head? Oh, yeah. did that.

How about a black supreme court justice?

Done.

Oh, how about a woman VP nominee. . . Oh I could go on.

Seriously, think about it.

The only way around it is a conservative who doesn’t care about the media at all, won’t get caught schmoozing w Dems, and who has no shame over his or her conservativism. DOES have to be clean as Romney in personal affairs.

Why did Obama use American personnel, money, equipment and facilities to overthrow the government of Libya? Gaddafi was a bad guy? How about Castro, then? He’s only 90 miles away. The Democrats wet their pants over Reagan helping the insurgents fighting communist thugs in our own backyard in Nicaragua. Now, the Democrats are fine with overthrowing Gaddafi? Something stinks here.

bingo - a few Presidential signing orders and a complicit press seem to produce mass amnesia.
