Here comes Alensky. Choose your opponents of doing exactly what you are doing-—we Paid for soc and medicare leave them the hell alone. Geo W had a good plan to save it but the slimey DEMs said he was trying to take away the seniors social sec. If anyone in the GOP votes for this they should be tarred and feathered!!!

Sen. Durbin can run for re-election, in 2014. I live near Chicago, and I know a conservative who will run in that race. He’s Chad Koppie, a member of the Kane Co. Regional Board of Schools. In the 1998 IL governor primary, Chad was the only conservative candidate. He’s pro-tax cuts, pro-spending cuts, pro-life, pro-gun rights, and anti-illegal alien. His blog is chadkoppiescampaign.blogspot.com. If you know any consevatives, who live in Illinois, please tell them about Chad and ask them to volunteer and/or donate to his campaign.

If Pubs want to play it like the Dems, Durbin should be immediately condemned as “throwing the old and sick under the bus”.

Then let the fiscal cliff happen and blame it on him personally.

RE :”But Durbin ruled out raising the age of Medicare eligibility as a potential reform.
“We’ve got to make sure that there is seamless coverage of affordable health insurance for every American,” Durbin said. “My concern about raising that Medicare retirement age is there will be gaps in coverage or coverage that’s way too expensive for seniors to purchase.”

His buddy Sen Limpy Grahamnesty was on with him and he said that senate Republicans demand that the automatic spending cuts be repealed (so no cuts) and instead he wants to raise the (future) age of eligibility for Medicare to ‘pay for it’, which is hardly cutting spending.
Plus when Durbin challenged him and said the medicare trust fund (worthless IOUs Limpy) is good for another decade Grahamnesty didn't have the guts to say a word.

This is so typical, tax cuts now, spending and borrowing now and cut our entitlements later. Then he can claim that he (they) cut the deficit and no-one had to pay for it.

“Don’t be surprised if those programs and Obamacare will be axed in favor of a single pay national health care system.”

This has always been the goal!!
