The choice between liberal Charlie Crist and conservative Marco Rubio for the Republican nomination for United States Senator from Florida.
Oh, he finally came around. After then-Governor Crist endorsed the Obama stimulus, this was a bridge too far even for former Governor Bush.

I’m through with the GOP. My entire family is changing affiliation to Independent. I predict it will be Jeb Bush/Chris Christie for their 2016 ticket to nowhere.
No more Bushes. No more Presidential dynasties in the GOP. We need to nominate a real conservative. Just say no to Jeb and to Chris Christie, for that matter.
They are banking on his wife and their half Latino kids getting him in. They are just pandering to the Latino voters. Wonder what Jeb will be promising for their votes? And yes we will actual hear someone in the MSM comparing Columba to “Jackie-O” LOL they had the nerve to compare Moochelle to her. Can you just imagine the “Latino Jackie” LOL. It is a nightmare. Whites don’t count anymore at all.
Just watch. Jeb will get favorable coverage by the MSM..while any conservative will be attacked and demonized. That will last until the day he is nominated..then they will tear apart the whole line of Bush’s leading to him.
But, we conservatives make a big mistake..we should have our own party..or nominate a candidate in a pre-primary contest to centralize and focus our support. If we end up with 5 guys/gals against Jeb..well we will get Jeb.
We need to decide,,among conservatives..in the next two years who it will be.

The Bushes seem to like big companies and big government company. They are fascistoids. It’s not fair for them to deregulate so others can compete. They talk free globalization on one side of their mouth, and then they restrict it here, attacking small businesses on basis that the big ones had to keep the expensive proprietary EPA compliances and what not, and it would not be fair if it was exempted for small businesses in the future.
His citizen dad would confer citizenship to him upon birth; plus I believe he was born in the US. With O, his mom was too young to confer cititizenship based on the archaic laws of the time, if he hadn’t been born in the US

Personally Im already supporting Rand Paul. He is probably the only one who is willing to make the budget cuts necessary to save this country

That’s how it keeps working. No conservative 3rd party would have the ability to get the stick out there rears long enough to get off the ground.
I could really get behind Rand Paul, but the Gold standard thing is a real deal-breaker to me.
I can fully understand someone not wanting to vote for another Bush...but Jeb was a pretty damn good governor. He had coattails that gave us the first Republican legislature in 100 years.

I think you’re half-right for 2016. I see Bush/Rubio as the ticket, provided the GOP powers-that-be get their way. I further predict that the GOP powers-that-be will tell the social conservatives to go pound sand; that they’re no longer welcome in the party. Having Jeb Bush as our 2016 nominee is akin to simply handing the election to the Dims with no contest. If the stupidlicans haven’t figured out that the moniker “BUSH” spells doom for any future election, than they have even managed to outdo themselves as to the abysmal stupidity emanating from the now defunct GOP...

It’s evident that the tea party victory in 2010 did little to alter the control by the establishment GOP...in fact it’s only emboldened them, particularly on the House side.

Jeb Bush will run in the primaries against at least four or five conservatives. The conservatives will split the vote and Jeb will be the nominee. It’s been that way for the last 25 years and will be again. If he is nominated we only have ourselves to blame.
I will not vote for Jeb period. No freaking way.
Just like they did for Dole after saying they would not. And GWB. And McCain. And Romney.

Forget about his governorship. Any sane conservative doesn’t want another Bush as a President let alone the nominee in 2016! I’m tired of hearing about how a decent guy he is, so was Dole and H.W. How exactly do we manage to do this? Primaries start back East, where they think RINOS are conservative and true conservatives are nut cases. That is why we keep getting RINO candidates, the choice is made for us before we even get to vote in the primary.

I'm not a fan of dynastic politics but if he wants to run in the primary, I wouldn't discourage him. Odds are he would not earn my support.
Sure he would get favorable or neutral coverage, unless/until he is actually elected- then they will pile on him daily just as they did the last President Bush.
