Rand Paul – the only one left?

Glenn Beck
Nov 29, 2012

Glenn interviewed seemingly the only politician with a spine on radio today, Senator Rand Paul. While many Republicans are displaying a readiness to just throw out everything they said they believed in and cave to Obama, Sen. Paul is trying to hold the line. Check out the interview today in the clip above and find out how to get involved.

Oh, no! He's not picking the candidate. Last time, he supported Mittens.

Surprisely, he didn't include Gov. Walker, Newt or Palin on that list..

They each are very smart if you ask me.

I like Rand Paul.
He has a lot of good ideas that he doesn’t equivocate on.

I have observed more common sense in Rand Paul than any politician in decades. I would vote for him even if he was a Muslim. And that takes a lot for me to vote for someone of that faith since I am intimately familiar with it.

What is best about Rand Paul is that he sticks to his principles. You get what you see and hear.

Run Rand Paul run...in 2016. I will part with my whole social security check for you even if I have to go on a diet that month.

Unfortunately he is also the only politician with Ron Paul for a father.

Who picked Mitt? Beck? He endorsed Bachmann early in the primaries and then was for Santorum (not sure if he endorsed or just promoted). He supported Mitt only after all was said and done.

...and he continually remarked on his show that he didn’t agree with Mitt on all issues.

I don’t question Rand Paul’s spine, I question his brain. He holds extreme libertarian views and is not really a Republican...just like his wack job daddy.

Hardcore libertarians just don’t fully belong in the GOP...they only hand out their out of convenience. Rand Paul needs to stop hiding as a “Republican” and run only as a Libertarian...stand with the group he really represents.

The dedicated libertarians, stick together. Imo.

It's. Free pot. Free sex. Do as you like. Beck even admitted before he left Fox, made cozy comments supporting gay marriage. This segment was on a show which aired, a few months before he did his final show. I don't want any part of this.

You can accuse Rand Paul of being a Constitutionalist. I certainly hope that being a defender of the Constitution doesn't mean you're an "extreme libertarian."

Besides, I still remember what Ronald Reagan said about libertarianism.

Ronald Reagan: "If you analyze it I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism."

New leaders will rise up—some from unlikely places—Maybe the Entertainment world (Kelsy Gramer? or Clint Eastwood) Or the world of Talk Radio (Michael Reagan,) or maybe sports or The military (Gen. Patreus —Confess your sins—pull the rug out from under Obama and run for president—American’s are a forgiving people) Even Donald Trump might point the way for a man of Business as a new hero for the future. Many new leaders can come forth when the time comes. That time will be soon.

“You can accuse Rand Paul of being a Constitutionalist.”

Pure Horse Manure....he is a “constitutionalist” strictly from a Libertarian point of view.....which IS NOT a proper interpretation in many cases.

Look...the man can do whatever he wants....represent whatever state will elect him....he just needs to stop calling himself a Republican.

His father was a dangerous wack job on national defense...all in the name of the “constitution.” Little Rand is just like Daddy.

BTW - Don’t misquote Reagan. You know good an well his was NOT talking about “Libertarians” (moral libertines on many issues) in the misquote you use. You are just a plain liar on the level of Obama to misrepresent Reagan in that manner.

“Hardcore libertarians just don’t fully belong in the GOP...”

I agree. They are nothing like Republicans. They actually believe in a limited federal government, following the Constitution every now and then, states rights... real wack jobs those Libertarians, especially Rand Paul.

Keep on supporting the “other” Republicans that fully belong in the GOP like McCain, Romney, Boner, Bush 1, 2 and 3... Men that fully belong in the GOP and fully support big government and the progressive agenda.

I don’t agree 100% with Rand (or anyone, for that matter) but he is far and away the best representative of conservative principles in Washington, DC.

I’ll vote for Rand any day. Luckily, I am a Kentuckian and actually get to.

Welcome to Fr.

If you notice, Reagan wasn’t a libertarian, and all that you have from him is that little quote from 1975 when during his campaign, he was being interviewed by the libertarians, solely for a libertarian audience, that quote looks pretty lonely when explained.

Reagan was a conservative and did not endorse the leftism of the libertarians, although they largely supported his conservative economics.

Here is the leftists agenda hidden behind the Libertarian Party curtain.

Libertarian Party Platform:

Throw open the borders completely; only a rare individual (terrorist, disease carrier etc.) can be kept from freedom of movement through “political boundaries”.

Homosexuals; total freedom in the military, gay marriage, adoption, child custody and everything else.

Abortion; zero restrictions or impediments.

Pornography; no restraint, no restrictions.

Drugs; Meth, Heroin, Crack, and anything new that science can come up with, zero restrictions.

Advertising those drugs, prostitution, and pornography; zero restrictions.

Military Strength; minimal capabilities.

Conservatives supported Rand Paul as a republican, I don't think he is a libertarian or I wouldn't have supported him for the Senate.

Rand Paul refused to endorse his goofy father.

I’m not sure he’s his daddy. He’s spouted some different stances not in line with the Paulshiveks, alot of whom don’t like and don’t support Rand, which is a very good sign.
