Although the word was not used back then, the Clinton White House, with the help of a complicit media, rewrote the event's "narrative" to assure re-election. Again, as with Benghazi, that narrative was clumsily improvised almost on a daily basis. Knowing the media had his back, Clinton responded much as Obama did: deny, obfuscate, and kick the investigatory can down the road until after the election.
One central figure appeared in each drama: Hillary Clinton. She stood by Obama's side in the Rose Garden on September 12 as he spun reality into confection. She, Bill, and Sandy Berger holed themselves up in the White House family quarters, assessing their narrative options throughout that long night of July 17, 1996.
On that fateful night, FAA air traffic controllers saw an unknown object "merge" with the doomed 747 seconds before it exploded, and they rushed the tape to the White House. Hundreds of people saw what the controllers did from the ground. FBI witness No. 73, an aviation buff, watched a "red streak" with a "light gray smoke trail" move up toward the airliner and then go "past the right side and above the aircraft before arcking [sic] back down toward the aircrafts [sic] right wing." She even reported the actual breakup sequence before the authorities figured it out on their own.
High-school principal Joseph Delgado told the FBI that he had seen an object like "a firework" ascend "fairly quick," then "slow" and "wiggle," then "speed up" and get "lost." Then he saw a second object that "glimmered" in the sky, higher than the first, then a red dot move up to that object, then a puff of smoke, then another puff, then a "firebox." He drew a precise image of the same for the FBI.

I found it quite enlightening the morning of Sept 11. As I remember it, Matt Lauer (and everyone) was watching the first tower burn, talking about the accident, and wondering how the pilot could have been so confused, and raising very slightly the possibility that the pilot may have been suicidal, and all of a sudden the second plane hit the second tower. Took half a second for Matt to say: "The nation is under terrosit atatck."
They know. But they hide what they know. Until it cannot be hidden nay longer.

If I remember right, the second guy in the OKC bombing was supposed to have met with some Moslems in the Phillipines. Flight 800 was a coverup. Benghazi is being covered-up. All for our own good....so we won’t panic. If you panic, you might not vote Democrat. Let’s take a worst case approach to Benghazi. Al Qaeda took a weapon from the Libyan arsenal that could kill a lot of Americans. So what? We’ve somehow managed to live under the threat of Russian (and thanks to Clinton, Chinese) nuclear weapons. I didn’t see everyone run screaming out of Chicago. Tell the truth. We’re Americans. We deserve to know. The people in the big cities don’t pay attention anyway or they wouldn’t vote Democrat.

There is no proof as of yet (and probably never will be) but it does fit Occam’s Razor. They were left to die despite the US government’s awareness of the situation and ability to respond. That makes it a agenda item for someone.

That’s a bit of a leap. The US left the Vietnam era POW’s to die (many of them) but not because they wanted them dead. More because there were too many other things that got in the way. Of course the situations are not exactly comparable but if the whole purpose was to ensure Steven’s death, there were probably easier ways to accomplish that. This way is way more convoluted than I would suppose, thus Occam is a bit uneasy.
IMHO - That is not the worst case for Benghazi. This would be the worse case.
The Syrians, Iranians and Russians attacked the Mission and CIA annex in Libya disguised as Al Qeada operatives. They did this to shutdown the weapons pipeline from Libya through Turkey. This was one of the opening shots in WWIII. Our leaders are so inept that their enemies attack us with impunity.
At any rate, terrorists in Egypt now control a vast array of Chemical WMD's and the media is completely covering that fact up. Yes, the same progressive morons who were screaming no WMD's in Iraq, have now let their Prezzy help the Muslim Brotherhood control thousands of Chemical WMD munitions.
The US is being led by a bunch of clowns. They were punked by the attackers. The attackers disguised themselves as Al Qeada, this caused the President to freeze, since he has deals in place with Al Qeada to help overthrow the previous Libyan government and the current Syrian government. If you remember back to the opening days of Obama's leading from behind attack on Libya, Obama and Nato were getting their buts kicked initially by Ghaddafi. Seemed like NATO was better at killing the revolutionaries then they were at killing the government they were trying to overthrow. Then Obama got Osama killed, and surprisingly, AL Qeade then got on board with the Arab Spring meme. Later followed by the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. In a nut shell, the leading from behind approach was such a complete disaster that Obama had to align with Al Qeade and the Muslim Brotherhood to achieve his short sighted Arab Spring goals.
So as the Benghazi attack unfolded, the President probably sent a Blackberry message to his main contact in Al Qeada who told him, no, we are not attacking you. So whats a prezzy to do in that situation ? Go get some rest apparently.
Be prepared for massive terrorist attacks on the US that the Prezzy wont be able to do anything about. He is being played like the clown he is.
I was watching TV when 9/11 happened. The evolving official narrative just after the first plane hit was that something had happened to the jet's autopilot. If the second plane had not hit, then that would have been the official story.
The second plane, and then the third plane hitting the Pentagon, blew that official narrative out of the water. Osama knew that he needed something sufficiently big, that it could not be swept under the rug.

Back in June, Morsi extracted a promise from Obama to release all Islamic prisoners. Then Mohammed al Zawahiri gave a CNN interview that was shown in Canada on 9/11, but withheld in the US. In that interview, Zawahiri offered what he called a peace plan, but was really just the list of demands that Osama Bin Laden issued before the 9/11/01 attacks.
His six-page proposal offers a 10-year truce if the following terms are met. In brief they are:
• U.S. and West to stop intervening in Muslim lands
• U.S. to stop interfering in Muslim education
• U.S. to end the war on Islam
• U.S. to release all Islamist prisoners.
In the interview, al Zawahiri also stated that contrary to what Obama has been saying, Al Qaeda was diminished, but not gone.
In Egypt the 9/11 protesters were chanting that they were all Osamas now, Obama, not mentioning anything about a You Tube video.
Then in Benghazi, Al Qaeda sent another message to Obama, a stronger message, that if he didn’t carry through with his promise, Al Qaeda would renew the jihad against the West.
I think that the Obama administration knew that the protests and the attack was coming and came up with the video narrative ahead of time. I don’t think that Obama thought that Al Qaeda would actually kill anyone.
While we are all focused on the budget show down, Obama is taking steps to capitulate to the demands of Morsi and al Zawahiri, actually to the demands of Osama Bin Laden. First by closing Gitmo and second by declaring an end to the war on terror, and making peace with Al Qaeda. There’s an article in the WSJ, entitled, The Pentagon’s Lawyers looks to end Terror. They don’t mean actually ending terror, just the war on terror.
It’s possible. My first thought was that it was the Russians. I’m more inclined to think it was Benghazi thugs freeing some of their own. Either way, it’s been completely botched by the Democrats.

Probably free lancers or advisor Russians. Could have been some hard core Iranian military. Definitely hard core Syrian military. And of course, some local Al Qeada paid some cash. They can attack US forces anywhere in the world now with that MO and get off scot-free. That is what happens when you make a deal with the devil. And DC has made that deal.

If my memory serves me right, the attacks against US consulates orchestrated with the video meme, started the day before the Benghazi attack ? But DC could have also just jumped onto the video bandwagon, or the attackers wanted DC to jump onto that bandwagon.
Our leaders are being played like clowns and thousands of Americans will die because of their ineptitude. The only rough spot in your theory, is why would Al Qeada align with the US after Osama Bin Laden was killed by Obama ? From my point of view, he either was already dead or was going to die with a terminal illness (on his death bed). So they decided to use Bin Ladens death as part of the deal with the devil. Obama would get his main campaign bullet point, he killed Osama, while Al Qeada would get Libya and eventually Syria. Same basic deal was made with the Muslim Brotherhood with respect to Egypt. So who is the devil in this deal ? Obama or Islamic Terrorists ?

Now here is the kicker, Flight 800 took the spot that Israel air was suppose to have. They had to let air france go ahead of them because of mechanical problems.

They started the same day but early in the morning. The Benghazi attack was in the evening.
