It takes a type of courage that few possess, sadly.

Please forgive me for not sympathizing with someone who supports a Communist wannabe who wants to take away my freedom. Mr. Bon Jovi can burn in hell for all I care. Too bad his daughter had a Daddy with his own problems.

It is beyond being someone who disagrees with my Politics. It is about someone who is part of the Ruling Class along with his Butt Buddy Obama who is affecting how I and my Family live our lives. Nothing I do affects their lives.

Correct. The distinctions between the classes have never been more evident.

“Information Extraction Specialist/Interrogation Technician”

I can’t say the sounds extracted from me during Pain-Torture sessions rise to the level of information, but your job title is more accurate than the real thing.

I’m sorry for your loss. No parent should have to go through that. I always tell my kids the most dangerous thing they do every day is driving a car, and I’m overprotective by most standards in that regard.

We have been blessed so far. Six kids, and the problems have been very minor (especially when compared to the problems I gave my parents.) Today my daughter (2nd-oldest, age 17) is taking her longest solo drive so far for a campus visit (and for an excuse to see her big brother). It’s 3 hours each way, so I’m praying a bit extra today. (She made it there - just the return trip left.)

Indeed life in the fast lane has a dead end.

“I can’t say the sounds extracted from me during Pain-Torture sessions rise to the level of information, but your job title is more accurate than the real thing.”

I know, I’ve been the unfortunate sap to bring people to those pain-torture sessions.
My daughter went through physical therapy for her knees.
She played soccer in school and was quite good at it.
Unfortunately, soccer destroys your knees.
And she got the idea to be an Information Extraction Specialist/Interrogation Technician from her IES/IT personnel.

“is taking her longest solo drive so far for a campus visit “

I remember that one as well.
My daughter was driving my car.
I ribbed her when she got back, she’d stopped off at a Wendy’s somewhere and failed to bring me a Frosty.
So she stopped off at McD’s a little bit later and brought me back a twenty piece chicken nugget... and a Frosty from Wendy’s.

"A little patience, and we shall see the reign of witches pass over, their spells dissolve, and the people, recovering their true sight, restore their government to its true principles. It is true that in the meantime we are suffering deeply in spirit, and incurring the horrors of a war and long oppressions of enormous public debt. If the game runs sometimes against us at home we must have patience till luck turns, and then we shall have an opportunity of winning back the principles we have lost, for this is a game where principles are at stake."

Our leadership would have labeled him an extremist.

Yes, isn’t that amazing? Also, his quote almost seems to be addressing the situation we find ourselves in today.

Yes, the Founders were rather foresighted.

Heroin is the end of the line.

I have seen a brother fight it(losing more than winning) for nearly 20 years. If Bon Jovi was smart he would take his daughter as far away from the people and places she is used to. He must assume she will use again. It is almost 100% inevitable she will use again if put in the same circumstances. She needs DISTANCE and TIME from the drug if she has any hope for the future.
