The Obama administration secretly gave its blessing to arms shipments to Libyan rebels from Qatar last year, but American officials later grew alarmed as evidence grew that Qatar was turning some of the weapons over to Islamic militants, according to United States officials and foreign diplomats.
No evidence has emerged linking the weapons provided by the Qataris during the uprising against Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi to the attack that killed four Americans at the United States diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, in September.
But in the months before, the Obama administration clearly was worried about the consequences of its hidden hand in helping arm Libyan militants, concerns that have not previously been reported. The weapons and money from Qatar strengthened militant groups in Libya, allowing them to become a destabilizing force since the fall of the Qaddafi government.

That would have made a heck of a campaign commercial if Mittens had had the guts. Barack Obama thinks American Citizens DON’T have the right to bear arms but will freely give away automatic weapons to Mexican drug lords or Al Qaeda associated groups.

Too bad none of the weapons used in Benghazi were left behind so that they could be traced back to see if they oringinated from the US/Qatar supply system.
Maybe thats what the 27 day delay to getting the Dept. of “Just-Us” investigators there was all about : delay while the location gets santized .
At least in “ Fast and Furious “ weapons were dropped so as to not link the killing weapon to the user ; no such concern or fear exists , especially in the 27 day delay since the Benghazi attack .

There was no US approval.
This was an ILLEGAL WAR (use their terms!) and President Obama ordered weapons be given to rebels.
The American people and Congress had nothing to do with this.
That seems a pretty reasonable assumption.
Since we’re arming the drug cartels, we might as well arm the Jihadi’s, too. After all, redisribution is the apex of fairness, isn’t it? The depths of this administration’s corruption and incompetence are still unchartered.

0bama next moved to ship those same arms to Al Qaeda in Syria to overthrow Assad.
That’s a cover-up big enough to kill Americans and keep anyone else who knows quaking in their boots.

I surmise these would be the same Libyan Islamist who killed Chris Stevens and the three other Americans in Benghazi. Wouldn’t any reasonable American call that treason and wouldn’t such treason be worthy of execution for the arming, aiding and abetting an enemy that murdered a US official? Not to worry though, our elected officials (McAmesty, Grahmnesty and Die Freakenstein) will get to the bottom of this treasonous act by this anti-American fraud currently in the WH. All is good.

They are also against the recent uprising in Egypt trying to overthrow the Muslim Brotherhood. And we have verified that the US was supplying arming and training to the Jihadi insurgents in Syria. Even Clinton admitted that and of course acted surprised about a month or two before the election. We are still waiting for confirmation of weapons being shipped from Libya to the Syrian Insurgents, but all indications are that arms were shipped. This all of course opens the barn door to allow Russia and China to do the same.

Obama did not provide arms to Al Qaeda. Relying on surrogates did it! Obama had little leverage at times over the surrogates. And you cannot prove that it's Obama's fault. Blame American arms dealer[s] hounding the surrogates to buy weapons.
“The president made the point to the [surrogates] that we needed transparency about what Qatar was doing in Libya.” See! Obama cares.
Even Mahmoud Jibril, then the prime minister of the Libyan transitional government complained about those darn surrogates arm[ing] extremist groups opposed to the new leadership.
The surrogates wanted to ship American weapons in their possession.. The administration rejected that request, but instead urged the [surrogates] to ship weapons to Libya that could not be traced to the United States. “The [surrogate] was asking for clearance to send U.S. weapons,” said one former official. “We told them it’s O.K. to ship other weapons.” D'oh! How did that direct connection to Obama get left in the article.. Editor!
The [surrogates], the official added, are “supposedly good allies, but the Islamists they support are not in our interest.” Golly we were flabbergasted Administration officials said.
And that evil American arms dealer, darn him.. he sold weapons to one of the surrogates and “They just handed them out like candy.”
So in conclusion it is the Nytimese unbiased, nonpartisan opinion that it is not PRESIDENT! Obama's fault and you can't prove it is.

Yep. Now, talking points are being lined up for Syria intervention.

Does that mean that now that the MB and Al Qaeda are in place and fortified, US/NATO must go in and help this endangered and suffering population so that they can depose Assad and hold a democratic election?
That’s the truth.
If the FBI had stayed more than 3 hours on site, and had done their job, they could have collected schrappenel and had metalurgical studies on the fragments and determined where the weapons originated. If they were ours, then we can conclude that obama armed the branch of al Quadea who used our arms to kill our people. Thanks obama. We will never be told the truth.
They figured we couldn't handle "information overload". Yes, many of us figured this out the first week. Now waiting until they show up on the Mexican border and into the U.S.
