Scientists May Have Finally Unlocked Puzzle of Why People Are Gay
usnews ^ | 12-11-2012 | Jason Koebler

Scientists may have finally solved the puzzle of what makes a person gay, and how it is passed from parents to their children.

A group of scientists suggested Tuesday that homosexuals get that trait from their opposite-sex parents: A lesbian will almost always get the trait from her father, while a gay man will get the trait from his mother.

They are not making a political point, they are trying to figure out how human life works?

I meant to end that with a period, not a question mark.

I know absolutely nothing about “epi-marks,” but at this link, I found the following:
The epigenetic code is hypothesized to be the combined effects of histone modifications and DNA methylation on gene expression. While the genetic code in an individual is the same in every cell, the epigenetic code can be tissue- and cell-specific and may change over time because of aging, disease or environmental stimuli (e.g., nutrition, life style, toxin exposure).
Soooo, doesn’t that mean there might be a cure?

All pseudoscience stems from trying to prove someone’s opinion rather than base things purely on the scientific method.

What if they can just treat it and not otherwise harm the baby. That’s where the issue gets fascinating.

Wait until the homosexuals find out that,to the lefties, abortion rights trump homosexual rights...

At a protest “Occupying CPAC” in Washington DC, a protestor admits that it would be legitimate to abort a baby because it was gay, all for the woman’s “Right to Choose”.

Not all defects, but many, are genetically induced. We are slaves of sin and need to be saved. That’s why life is so difficult, you can’t force yourself to be good, you need to be saved from the fact that we are born into sin, via genetics.

That kind of thinking tries to eliminate the spiritual aspect. I suggest avoiding it.

Liberal agendas always collide. That’s one of the big reasons why I know liberals are wrong.

So, how do they explain a family that has two gay sons and a lesbian daughter? I’ve known several families with that combination.

Mad science. Personal opinion not based on scientific evidence. Total crappola.

No researcher has found provable biological or genetic differences between heterosexuals and homosexuals that weren't caused by their behavior.

The hereditary link of homosexuality has long been established...

When? Where? By whom? Using what methods? What are the political (and sexual) persuasion of those having "established" this?

lemme see if i get this... it’s genetic, but not genetic. there’s this gene that’s not a gene that passes it down, but doesn’t pass it....

i call BS

it’s a nature versus nurture situation, and since there is no gay gene, then is ain’t nature.

What if they can just treat it and not otherwise harm the baby. That’s where the issue gets fascinating.

Treating an embryo in the womb will be very diffucult to do without inadvertently messing something else up also, especially if it involves hormones like testosterone that do a multiple of different things, many of them unknown.

Not that it is impossible, but if this is true than the test will be out long before a cure.
