New CNN programming chief Jeff Zucker will reportedly replace Soledad O'Brien, the host of the network's morning show "Starting Point," with Erin Burnett, who currently hosts "Outfront," which airs at 7 p.m. on the struggling cable news network.
The New York Post reported that Zucker is “looking at Erin Burnett to revive the cabler’s moribund morning ratings” and quotes a CNN source who said Zucker will team Burnett “up with a guy, and they’ll go after the audience watching ‘Today’ and ‘Good Morning America.’" O'Brien recently told a college audience that when she first heard of Zucker's hire, she thought, "Yes!" because Zucker "knows news. He knows winning. He knows morning TV.”
“To me, Jeff Zucker is synonymous with winning,” O’Brien said last week at Drexel University, according to Media Bistro. “He’s an incredible news executive. I want to be on a team that strategizes how to win. It’s great to have a leader … I’m thrilled.”
Apparently, Zucker believes CNN's best chance to win the ratings race in the morning is without O'Brien.

She is a lefty hack just like all the rest. I remember when she was on CNBC and telling everyone had bad the economy was in early 2008 to set the stage for Odumbo. I won’t be watching.
Oh yes, just ask Zucker.
She’s pretty. I kind of liked her on CNBC, but she’d show up on MSNBC, and there isn’t a doubt she’s a lefty. She’s also very high maintenance.

Still, she does frequently offer a(somewhat)pro-business counter-point when confronted with her anti-business(CNN/BSNBC type)socialist guests.
Soledad always came across as an angry, bitter, smarmy toad. "Journalists" like her are Saul Alinsky tactics scholars who are there to push "the agenda".
More and more of them(in media and politics)are filling up the airwaves. Look for "Rules for Radicals" to be the text of choice for the foreseeable future in academia...as smear tactics appear to be far more effective(elections, etc.)...than presenting facts/opposing views in a respectable way.
Change is not the word to use here.
Erin's wiki page says she "began her career as a financial analyst for Goldman Sachs[13] in its investment banking division, where she worked on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance", which implies that she knows something beyond what her teleprompter tells her.

O’Brien is worse than Burnett.
But Burnett is no Jake Tapper (liberal but won’t drink the Kool-Aid), either. Burnett shows plenty of bias, just, less than the openly hateful O’Brien.

I had no idea she was her daughter.
I’m a gentleman of the highest order.
She is attractive however, she has an unusually large throat, it almost looks like she swallowed a pipe.
I’d hit it too, but then again, I would hit Soladad too.
Burnett replaces O’Brien on the bridge and the Titanic sails on.
