A 12-year-old girl who uses a wheelchair was left in tears after TSA agents detained her for nearly an hour at a Texas airport after saying they found traces of bomb residue on her hands, her mother claimed today. Shelbi Walser was travelling to Florida with her mother, Tammy Daniels, for treatment for her brittle bone disorder when she was stopped at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport in Texas. A TSA agent swabbed Shelbi´s hands and she tested positive for explosives. But the wheelchair, which is likely to have transferred any substance to her hands as she pushed it

My sister-in-law had a similar problem. It turns out that her oxygen equipment was cleaned with something that set off the bomb detector. She missed her plane.
I agree, but I also remember lots of conservatives and Repubs, including on here, dismissing concerns for civil rights as a making a mountain out of a molehill during the Bush years. “Bah, we need these tools to fight terrorists!” they said.
Now Obama is in office and we suddenly discover rights and freedom.
Sometimes I wonder if it is a requirement to be a donkey’s whole to be hired.
I have run into a few very nice and competent TSA agents, just wonder how long they stay, my guess they will quit because the people they work with are idiots.

Chicken feed, chicken poop. One of the ingredients in explosives is/was derived from urea (urine), IIRC.
To be fair, the terrorists are animals and wouldn’t stop at using their own or other people’s children to smuggle a bomb or components on board an aircraft. There are blue-eyed blond muslims in Eastern Europe and converts everywhere. I’m surprised it hasn’t happened yet. We are blessed with generally stupid enemies so far.
I agree. Unfortunately, our agents are stupider (as in Dumb and Dumber). I made a sarcastic comment about what is fertilizer - have used my rabbit waste as such, you can make explosives from the stuff. I had trays under the cages capturing the stuff, rabbits are prolific in making waste. Garden loved it.
As for stupid enemies, I can think of several ways to get around agents, but won't post the info. Common safe everyday items can be combined to wreak havoc. Things that teens create for fun. The TSA is there to give the illusion that we are safe, but we are not.

I was one of those people. I trusted and believed President Bush. I now realized I was lied to. We did 9/11 ourselves as a false flag to usher in the end of our civil liberties, and in order to bring about the NWO. Osama bin Laden? He died of kidney failure in late 2001. Bush and Obama used him as an Emmanuel Goldstein to justify all kinds of evil, both at home and abroad. 9/11 was a lie. The “killing” of bin Laden in 2011 was a lie. Its all been used to make slaves of us. I feel doubly terrible because at one time, I supported it all, but my government has betrayed me and millions like me. Now the era of our slavery is about to begin in earnest. The NWO (through their puppets Obama and the Republicans) will use the CN shooting as a justification to disarm us all. Once that is done, there will be no stopping the NWO agenda of poverty and slavery.
The behavior of the TSA? Well, they’re Government employees, they have no idea that the person who is funding their paycheck is standing right in front of them. TSA, Senator, Postal worker, DMV clerk, Governer, Dog catcher, etc. It doesn’t matter at what level of Government, I rarely see these folks being respectful of the people who pay them and of the taxpayer dollars they are entrusted with.
If this happened to my child I’d be in jail. My daughter is a beautiful 18 yo accomplished young lady. She is a classically trained ballerina and carries herself as such. The last time she came home from college she commented she was pulled out of line again for special screening. She says it happens every time. She couldn’t figure out why but it’s obvious to me. If I’m with her and one of those stinking lecherous good for nothings lays a hand on her......
