After a whole lot of confusion, the NY Post, NY Times and other news outlets have now identified Adam Lanza as the suspect in the tragic shooting at an elementary school in Connecticut this morning. Altogether, at least 27 people were killed, including 20 children, when the 20-year-old Lanza allegedly walked into the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown and opened fire.
NBC initially reported that a Ryan Lanza killed his father in Hoboken NJ this morning, then drove to Connecticut to Sandy Hook Elementary School, where his mother Nancy is a kindergarten teacher. It would be an understatement to say that there have been several conflicting reports about this timeline though: some reported that a body was found in a family home at 36 Yogananda Street in Newtown. CNN reported that Lanza's younger brother was found dead in Hoboken; a previous AP report claimed the younger brother was being held for questioning. That has since been amended to read that the 24-year-old Ryan Lanza, the older brother, is being questioned, but is not considered a suspect.
Around 9:30 a.m., Adam Lanza is said to have opened fire in the offices at Sandy Hook Elementary—witnesses told the Post that screams and gunshots were heard over the intercom of the school. Lanza then reportedly went into his mother's kindergarten class, killed his mother, then opened fire on the children. Police confirmed that all the shootings took place in one section of the school, in only two rooms.

I’m curious about the mask he was wearing.
So he shot his way in to get to the defenseless victims. A CHL bearer allowed to exercise his/her training could have made this a maybe 1-2 victim plus perp level tragedy.
I can’t imagine what could cause a person to kill or injure little children except insanity or Satan.
Cain killed a bunch of Abels today. What a twisted tasbard to do such heinous acts of slaughter. Devil DID make him do it.
Also, here in Texas, many if not all school districts have an SRO (Student Resource Officer) on every campus. They are uniformed LEO from the city the campus is located in. The school is their ‘beat’. Off duty LEO (city/county) are also paid to provide security at games and events.

I think there are enough PARENTS to stand guard over their offspring! Arm them and the teachers!
It certainly wasn’t something we worried about when I was in school in the early 80s.

That is what the Israelis do. It seems to work reasonably well for them.
So how’s the divorce/cohabitation “industry” working out? Oh, and did they “stop domestic violence” since those great laws were passed during the ‘80s and ‘90s?

My wife asked me if this made me question my belief in God; I told her it reaffirmed my belief in the Devil.
We should stop blaming Satan for every evil in this world. To do so would make mankind blameless.

Obama on TV whining and play-crying that the children had their entire lives ahead of them. However, he and his abortion murdering liberal friends shed no tears for the 53 million murdered abortion children. He sheds no tears for the partial-aborted ones tossed on the table to die when they botch the abortion. Two faced liar he is.

Connecticut: Certificate of Eligibility for Pistol or Revolver required to purchase handguns. Applicants must complete an approved handgun safety course, and pass a NICS background check prior to issuance of certificate. Certificate of Eligibility valid for five years. Permit needed to carry open or concealed.
