Gun-ownership groups were preparing themselves on Friday for another barrage of anti-firearm moves following the horrific mass killing at a Connecticut elementary school.
The National Rifle Association and most groups were keeping silent on the day that 28 people, including 20 young children, were shot dead. “Until the facts are thoroughly known, NRA will not have any comment,” the group, based in Fairfax, Va., said in a statement reported by the Atlantic.
But some organizations spoke out, including Gun Owners of America, which has about 300,000 members and is headquartered in Springfield, Va. “Gun-control supporters have the blood of little children on their hands,” Larry Pratt, the group’s executive director, said. “Federal and state laws combined to insure that no teacher, no administrator, no adult had a gun at the Newtown school where the children were murdered. This tragedy underscores the urgency of getting rid of gun bans in school zones,” he added. “The only thing accomplished by gun-free zones is to ensure that mass murderers can slay more before they are finally confronted by someone with a gun.” Gun Owners of America called for state and federal lawmakers to immediately overturn bans on guns in schools. …

The Cryer In Chief and his false tears yesterday. Crying for those children who had their entire lives in front of them. That part is true. But, his false tears for them is what galls me. He and his liberal, one world government, WANTING TO CULL THE POPULATION TO SAVE THE WORLD GROUPS, crying false tears while 53 million children in America have been aborted. He supports THIS mass murder. It is LEGAL to murder through abortion. I hope those women who want their “rights” to choose are happy. The blood of 53 MILLION unborn children are on THEIR HANDS!!!

Lot’s of fact, and truths that we have to remember.
Let’s not forget that the first mass murder in the country at a school was a disturbed or disgruntled Janitor/employee that set off an explosion.
Also, remember the China incident where a guy used a knife to get his victims.
Remember that Scotland is the knife murder capital of the world.
I seem to recall that guns are still needed for when Ex-cons break into your house, as happened a few years ago in the New England region of the USA. They tie up the father of the house, then they rape the daughter’s and kill the mom.
Then these ex-cons plan to burn the house down but by that time the father escapes the house. In that story a Rich, Beautiful mom and 2 daughter’s died.
The White house press core said they’ve never seen Obama emotional, Well I can recall that he cried after the election as Putin of Russia cried after his re-election, Just saying.
Also, I remember that “someone” gave a shout out to “My friend Sitting Bull, AKA Joe Medicine Crow, What’s up homeboy?”
The Constitution was set up for this country, there are plenty of countries where people can go live if they don’t want guns to be free for personal protection.
Imagine how some Blacks lived freely in the South because they organized and were able to flash a Shotgun at Corrupt authorities that would rather brutalize them.
Btw, if you chose to go to Mexico to live where guns are banned don’t take a Shotgun because like the USA Marine - you too will be thrown in Jail.
Every time there is a gun-related incident, of any kind, there is no mention whatsoever, about the criminal, if they lived, or that it is the “criminal community” that has any bearing on it.
It has always been, that those screaming, want to dis-arm ALL the decent folks, because of one or two nut cases.
The illegal gun grabs made during the Hurricane Katrina fiasco, were never really broadcast, were they? NO!! All the reports of Americans defending themselves against criminals get, mqaybe, 10 seconds air life, but everybody and their monkey’s uncle who is screaming about gun control, get months of air life. A football player shoot HIMSELF, and these so-concerned “Jehu’s” want you to bow and give up your only means of protection. “Doesn’t that seem strange to you?
The media pays attention to what come out of Hollywood’s collective, (ahem), off-camera mouth. They forget that Hollywood’s business in ENTERTAINMENT, and those that give thier own attention, through reading the supermarket blabs, or the plethora of stupid shows that are broadcast on television, are just as much at fault, as the media. You pay Hollywood for entertainment, not for politics.

This never happened in the past. Now it is happening regularly BECAUSE of the media saturation coverage.
Some loser who no one ever paid attention to , who never succeeded at any thing now is on ever tv screen in the world and ever paper and the media evil cretins are talking about every thing about this cretin. who cares about “why” it did it ? we know why , the media caused it because this NEVER or hardly ever used to happen in the many decades before the media intense coverage. the media know what they are doing and their goal is to take away our guns so that the government is empowered in relation to us. The media are democrats/socialists and that's why they do everything to empower the government and to enslave us or the individual, fake global warming hoax, fake gun hoax, obamacare etc etc.
It would be as you have alluded to logistically impossible to implement gun confiscation in a country the size and population density of the USA. Not to mention that Americans are not like Europeans. We would not take kindly to it to say the least.

Yes and they will try stuff like CA compliant where on the weapons mag release you have to take a loaded round and push it in to get the magazine to drop free which slows you down. Then drop the capacity to 10 rounds.

Ironic that Obama who would call for seizing guns to save little children’s lives has created Obamacare that will force the funding of abortions to kill innocent babies in their mother’s wombs.
Demand press control. In the wake of a massacre, freedom of the press needs to be suspended. There are many valid reasons for this.
I intend to stock up.
On the day they “ban” any of my current, legally owned firearms... I will become a felon.
At that point. All bets are off.
