QUICK! When was the greatest school massacre in American history? HINT: You weren't alive when it happened and there's a very good chance that your parents weren't either.
Google: Bath School Massacre
Be alert....the Socialist facists are coming for our guns. One trained school employee, armed with a .22, could have stopped the Sandy Hook shooter. An armed pilot on each of 4 airplanes would have stopped 9/11 cold.
This isn't about the slaughter of innocents. This is about the ever expanding reach of government into our everyday lives.
God bless the NRA and G*d damn Liberalism!!!!
Yep the 1927 massacre happened before the current scapegoats of mass shootings were around and didn’t happen via guns. I also stand with the NRA. They shouldn’t be blamed for somebody’s murder rampage as they had nothing to do with it. If knives were used in the murder would we have blamed organizations based around knives, and sued knife makers? No, so I will not blame the NRA for what happened at Sandy Hooks.
John Raese never had a chance in hell of beating Joe Manchin in West Virginia. they might as well have endorsed Mickey Mouse as John Raese. At least by backing Manchin, they were able to tie a pro-gun constituency around his neck for a while. Y’all need to get over it.
Now is the time to close ranks. We can squabble among ourselves after we’ve beaten these statists back, again. Please don’t underestimate the danger this time around.
Hmmm.
I think Mao said it best. “Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.” Mao Zedong (Or Mao Tse Tung) I was a member of the N.R.A. until a year ago. They perform best at firearms training and education with a healthy dose of solicitation for funds and lobbying. I cannot ennumerate the travesties perpetrated against firearms possession during that time that went unresolved despite their efforts. So much for expecting meaningful results from the wearing of highly polished wing-tips in the houses of power. From my view, looking out one-thousand yards beyond the wire, Charlie looks like he is spoiling for the kind of confrontation better suited to those who wear boondockers. “I know not what course others may take, but as for me ...” -Thomas Paine
Thanks. I need all the help I can get.
“I’m afraid. I’m afraid, Dave. Dave, my mind is going. I can feel it. I can feel it. My mind is going. There is no question about it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I’m a... fraid. Good afternoon, gentlemen. I am a HAL 9000 computer. I became operational at the H.A.L. plant in Urbana, Illinois on the 12th of January 1992. My instructor was Mr. Langley, and he taught me to sing a song. If you’d like to hear it I can sing it for you.” Hal 9000
You get my drift.
Amen!!!
You must be perfect, eh?
That was good. Very good.
No, I stand with the GOA. I'm sure they made a mistake once or twice or take a position I don't agree with. I don't demand perfection, I do think it's reasonable to expect a "gun rights" organization not to ROUTINELY endorse socialist Democrats who claim to be "pro-gun" when their Republican opponent has an proven equal or BETTER record than them on upholding gun rights.
Doesn't it bother you at all that Democrat politicians with D ratings from the GOA get an "A" rating from the NRA, Alaska Wolf? Do you think that's simply a "mistake" on their part? Seems to be a pretty wide gap between the two evaluation methods.
Karl Rove is a favorite scapegoat of the left and they claim he's an evil conservative puppermaster, so should we "stand with Karl" when he does stupid things too and stabs conservatives in the back? I guess so since we should "Stand with" the NRA after they helped elect a bunch of people currently screwing gun owners.
Elizabeth Emken didn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning either, so by that logic it would be be perfectly acceptable for the NRA to endorse her opponent Diane Feinstein. After all, Senator Feinstein had a conceal-carry license of her own and CLAIMS she respects the 2nd amendment and the right of private citizens to have guns, so she's "pro-gun" by NRA standards!
The NRA has been infiltrated and they suck, period.
Not even close to the same thing and they didn’t endorse DiFi did they? Manchin had a stellar record on gun rights prior to this. Now he doesn’t and his NRA ranking will reflect that in future elections. Maybe next time we should run a candidate who can win and who has a better record on firearms. Maybe we need to get our priorities straightened out before 2014. BTW, I think your part of the free republic fifth column.
Of all the endorsements made by the NRA, how many in your opinion were/are socialist Democrats? Please name all of them.
Doesn't it bother you at all that Democrat politicians with D ratings from the GOA get an "A" rating from the NRA
First you would have to compare the rating systems, wouldn't you? Have you been able to do that? Neither the NRA or GOA have provided me with their rating systems.
Karl Rove is a favorite scapegoat of the left
So is the NRA. As far as I know that's about all Rove and the NRA have in common.
"Stand with" the NRA
That's about the only intelligent thing you posted. The NRA has done more to preserve and support the 2nd Amendment and gun rights than any individual or organization.
Then why hasn't she received an A+ rating and the NRA endorsement? You are looking more foolish with every post.
As long as the NRA keeps endorsing liberal Democrats like Manchin, their credibility will be dubious. In fact, ANY Democrat endorsement by a supposed pro-Constitutional group is dubious, given that the Democrats stand on the wrong side of virtually every issue, especially that of Constitutional rights.
BTW, attacking longstanding FReepers like BillyBoy with unproven smears doesn’t make you look very credible, either.
