President Obama says that income taxes must be raised on the rich because they dont pay their fair share. The indisputable facts from official government sources say otherwise.
The CBO reports based on official IRS data that in 2009 the top 1% of income earners paid 39% of all federal income taxes, three times their share of income at 13%. Yet, the middle 20% of income earners, the true middle class, paid just 2.7% of total federal income taxes on net that year, while earning 15% of income. That means the top 1% paid almost 15 times as much in federal income taxes as the entire middle 20%, even though the middle 20% earned more income.
Moreover, the official data, as reported by CBO and the IRS, show that the bottom 40% of income earners, instead of paying some income taxes to support the federal government, were paid cash by the IRS equal to 10% of federal income taxes as a group on net.
Any normal person would say that such an income tax system is more than fair, or maybe that the rich pay more than their fair share. So why does President Obama keep saying that the rich do not pay their fair share? Is he ignorant? Wouldnt somebody in his Administration whisper to him that he is peddling nonsense?
The answer is that to President Obama this is still not fair because he is a Marxist. To a Marxist, the fact that the top 1% earn more income than the bottom 99% is not fair, no matter how they earn it, fairly or not. So it is not fair unless more is taken from the top 1% until they are left only with what they need, as in any true communist system. Paying anything less is not...

Obama the Marxist should be restricted to just what he needs as a bare bones president. His annual budget is through the roof at the White House.
Obama needs some of his own fairness applied to himself, and if he won’t take that, like any Marxist who detests America, he can have his ration of lead.
No, he’s a communist/Leninist - he’s only pretending to be a socialist.
I heard a fellow on a business radio show refer to obama saying “you didn’t build that”.
This radio show very rarely talks about politics, but the host compared that kind of thinking to the russian revolution.
Add to that, if you go back and look at lenin’s tactics, they are very close to how obama conducts himself.
Agitate from a safe distance away until society comes apart, then rush in to ramp up all the dissafected people to rise against the tsar. The tsar’s family didn’t fare too well after that.
Lots of parallels going on.
I’m not sure Obama believes in anything - but he has a lot of hatreds he gained in his upbringing. He doesn’t have to believe in Marxism or Islam to relish using them tactically to hurt the groups he hates.
There is much more to Marx than just socialist sentiments. There were and are plenty of socialists and communists who are not only non-Marxist but explicitly anti-Marxist. Marxism is one school of thought under the larger umbrella of socialism.
Some major differences between Marx (and Engels) and Obama:
Marx believed that socialism should not be forced on people by a large, centralized government. He believed (wrongly) that socialism and the dissolution of government would happen automatically and voluntarily after capitalism collapsed. He directly opposed attempts to force socialism, by anyone, including the government.
Marx believed it was wrong to interfere with market prices, i.e. no subsidies or price supports or minimum wage.
Marx was against having the government create school curriculum.
Marx had a labor definition of value which virtually nobody, even socialist economists, supports now, and this was the core of his teaching.
The dissimilarities go on.
Socialist != Marxist necessarily
Low Information voters think “socialism” means social networking.
