Scripture was written by man.

The word of god was given to man and mankind has misrepresented their translation up through the ages to what you read today

Read the earliest (Known) translations (2-3 centuries after the fact) and see just how different it is from what is in your current bible.

)(There are NO known translations known to exist until well after the 3rd century AD. Those that do are only mere fragments.)(

Then think back those many centuries and think how many other variations occurred during that time.

What should be passed down to you and me is the tone and tenor of what was intended and not the precise wording that man has changed through ignorance and misunderstanding of the evolution of language and definitions of certain terms and descriptions.

If you only read what is given to you that is all that you know. I have researched (read the research) of those that tried to make our current bible accurate and they knew that their task was impossible and that the only thing they could do was take what fragments and think logically what was truly intended.

What do you know what I read? Do you know that I haven’t compared to the Hebrew and Greek? Do you believe that God is incapable of bringing us His word regardless of what man does? As I said in my last response to you. It’s obvious to me that either you don’t believe God is capable, you don’t believe the scriptures period, or you don’t believe that there is enough of the old Hebrew and Greek to be substantiated. Regardless of what it is, there is little left for us to discuss. Please don’t ping me again.

You are scared to death and there is no where to hide your pessimism.

Why don't you tell this yankee faggot to visit Texas and say this to a few folk's face?

Everything else.. not so much.

Judgmental folks with sticks up their butts least of all.

I believe stronger than you can possibly understand.
You narrow your vision and accept what is fed to you thinking it is accurate and true in its entirety.
Man is flawed. Man has transcribed the bible many time over till we come to modern day.
Without understanding that fact you can only see what the latest version is and not what the original was.
When you open your eyes and are willing to see ALL then you will understand much better the scriptures but if you narrow your vision and see only that which is currently placed in front of you, you have limited your vision.
Being MOSTLY right may be ok with you. As for myself I want to study all and in doing so I will read the correct along with the misconstrued, misquoted etc.
I do not have to believe all that I read but it is available for my consideration where you limit your vision only to that which is currently popular.

>>Man has transcribed the bible many time over till we come to modern day.<<

No kidding? You don’t say! Duh. Why is it do you think that I began this quest in the first place? I attempt to get as close as possible to the original transcripts that I can. I use the Greek or Hebrew texts to attempt to get the true meaning of words. Do you?

>>Without understanding that fact you can only see what the latest version is and not what the original was.<<

Where do you get the idea that I’m looking at “the latest version” anyway? It’s rather obvious that you haven’t been with me the last 65 years.

>>When you open your eyes and are willing to see ALL then you will understand much better the scriptures but if you narrow your vision and see only that which is currently placed in front of you<<

Somehow I’m thinking you mean I should be “seeing” the propaganda of the RCC. I’ve seen much of it. That’s why I am convinced that by staying with scripture alone as the ultimate truth I will avoid the errors that so many Catholics, Muslims, Mormons, and other religions have fallen into.

>>I do not have to believe all that I read but it is available for my consideration where you limit your vision only to that which is currently popular.<<

ROFL Currently popular? Believing that Easter, Christmas and Popes are in error is “currently popular”? I’ll stay with what God said through scripture thank you very much.

I have studied the Greek text - yes.
Regarding the Hebrew test the best that can be said is that it is fragments and nowhere complete. There are NO complete Texts for the New Testament.
Even the disciples did not write their texts until 20 years (Plus) after Christs crucifiction.
Each of the copies (scraps) were in different hands and each were worded differently, but referencing the same events.
None of the Disciples were scribes but wrote in rather common style contrary to the established rules followed by certified scribes.
In other words - They wrote informally as you and I would write to one another and not following a prescribed manner.

Yes, I have studied the roots and foundations of the origin of the bible and its consistencies, commonalities and possible fallacies.

Fortunately, the men that did compile the first few versions of the bible did so with honest attempts to be accurate in all ways possible but they differed among themselves as to precise wording and meanings on numerous counts and made note of those variations.

When the Catholic church took over they made decisions which gutted some parts because they could not be documented by secondary sources and consequently left out great portions which later were verified but they refused to make the additions.

Bless you for working to be knowledgeable and ferocious enough to stand by criticism.

My point has and always will be, that mistakes (some) were made and it could not be prevented under the circumstances that the majority of men in those time were not literate, let along literate in multiple languages.

I do believe it was God who preserved His word for us today and I trust He preserved all that He knew we would need for today. Then gave us the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to teach and lead. If we can’t trust Him to remain true we ain’t got nothing.

How “blazes” do you do it?

Simple. To be sure we are in the right place, at the right time, to do the right thing, in the right way, to perform by His Plan, we simply need to remain in fellowship with Him, continually praying and growing through faith in Him, and let Him perform the fight.

He will place us where he wants us and we will perform per His Plan by remaining in fellowship with Him. Rest in Him in all things.

Our Revered Leaders, fellow Comrade, have insured that we have been properly dumbed down.

FYI - I just finished a great book called "The Blood of Lambs". I do not recommend books very often but this one is a MUST read. I have lived in and around the area the sites mentioned (reference 6 day war with Israel).

One secret why it only lasted (actually less than) 6 days is that the Egyptians, Syrians, Jordanian, PLO, only allowed their soldiers 1 litter of water per day. The Jews (IDF) insured a minimum of 10 litters per day.

After two days in the middle of the Sinai Desert ANY man would be going into complete dehydration after the first day. They would have to rely upon drinking their own urine to survive. THAT will get you through a day or maybe two but after three days Perspiration would eliminate any urine left to drink.

I may have even crossed his path and/or listened in on his conversations while planning bombings.

It is a tough book to read until you start to get the point that this Jihadist was a product of his religion but had a mind of his own. In the end he converted and now endangers his life speaking out against the Muslim Brotherhood, PLO - etc.

Beware the last page. You might feel a tear or two run down your face.
