Buchanan: "There Would Be A Revolution" If Government Confiscated Weapons (video)

PAT BUCHANAN: There are three million ArmaLite rifles, those Bushmaster types, out there right now. And people are buying them like hotcakes, every gun show the sales are up enormously. Forty-one percent, they were up in December -- for last December, which was a record year. John, what is common though, Eleanor [Clift] is correct, the push is going to come on three things. Grandfather in the assault weapons that are here now, to try to outlaw assault weapons, outlaw magazines that carry more than 11 or 12 bullets, and also background checks at gun shows.

JOHN MCLAUGHLIN: With no Second Amendment, Congress could pass a law, as limited as this: banning assault rifles or as sweeping as prohibiting all private firearm ownership and requiring the surrender of all privately held firearms.

BUCHANAN: There would be a revolution in this country!

MCLAUGHLIN: Baloney! That doesn't mean you can't own one, but you have to put it in first and then go try --

BUCHANAN: There are 270 million guns in this country right now, John, and there adding to them at a rate of 16 million a year.

“The British people gave up their guns. The Aussies gave up their guns.”
“Why won’t the American people give up their guns?”

Even the Canadians wouldn’t register their long arms — why would the Liberals expect us to register ours?

I don’t know if they will call it a Revolution, but a lot of people are going to die and a guerilla war will break out making some parts of this country extremely dangerous for gun grabbers.

No one is going to confiscate weapons. Good grief. The only concern will be the amount of regulation attempted. Thinking there is going to be some horde of military, etc going door to door to take weapons is sheer lunacy.

I don’t know what the British or Australian Constitution says about guns.
I do know the 2nd. Amendment protects my rights.

Either my rights are worth fighting for or they are not, and if the 2nd. Amendment goes in the toilet the whole Constitution isn’t worth the paper it is written on and all of the other Amendments will be changed to suit the Muslim and his minions

The United States will then be Zimbabwe.

I think it means that if they think we’re all “fat, dumb & happy”, we won’t pose a problem when they order registration/confiscation. They’ve very stupid an in for a rude surprise, if they think that’s the case.

I am more convinced by the day that NONE OF THE CURRENT POLS AND VERY FEW PUNDANTS HAVE A CLUE WHAT THEY ARE about to cause.

I have an advantage on all you younger folks...I have had a good life, enjoyed every single day of my now ever distant 3/4 of a century on this earth.

...for you all, the coming struggle will be for your continued freedom and liberty...for me it will be the same...but in addition, it will be my escape from an old folks home.

God bless us one and all....

We will register our guns. We will do what we are told. Why? Because there is no one out there that is willing to martyr themselves in the name of freedom.

We talk a good game. Look at the Tea Party. In 2010 they were everywhere. As soon as they were pilloried in the media and compared to OWS, they vanished into the woodwork.

Want to know what our salvation is? The MSM being destroyed piece by piece. They control the governments message which in turn controls the people. Fact of life, we are choosing to live on our knees than die on our feet.

The Democrats know it and won’t stop until someone stands up and says enough. Honestly, I thought it would be Sarah Palin.

Democrats just like to pass laws, it makes them feel good about themselves. Here they think they’re doing it `for the children’ although they have armed guards for their children.
As can be seen in our southwest, `sanctuary cities’ and Chicago, they don’t care if the laws are enforced.
So the Democrats have demonstrated that they aren’t serious about law and order—at least as far as gangbangers and illegals are concerned.
But if they are serious about gun-grabbing (confiscation), well then, things are gonna go south, and fast—a lot of little Wacos with ATF agents and other LEOs being carted off on stretchers.
Just sayin’, lurkers. Last I heard we still had a 1st Amendment as well as the 2nd.

I read yesterday that Fineslime’s AWB is set to be introduced on Jan 22; the first day it legally can be in the new Congress. Until then, it’s a staredown; after that, it’s a blinking game. After that, it’s a shooting war. They have no idea of what’s coming; we do.

“No one is going to confiscate weapons.”

I think you’re right, but McLaughlin’s talking about it (above article).
JOHN MCLAUGHLIN: With no Second Amendment, Congress could pass a law, as limited as this: banning assault rifles or as sweeping as prohibiting all private firearm ownership and requiring the surrender of all privately held firearms.

Yeah, he talks a lot. I’m reminded of the poster of the GI: “I let my M-1 do my talking.”

>>Right. Perhaps I missed something, but we do have a Second Amendment and should be no less willing for it to disappear or to be disregarded than any of the others<<

Remember when we had a 4th, 5th, 6th, 9th and 10th Amendment?

If they can erase those, the 2nd is the only thing holding the others up. So it is the natural next target.

If Obama wanted to merely ban guns, he would do it in stages, so we get used to the restrictions, as in boiling the frog. I think he wants that civil war so he can make himself a dictator.

“What will people like Elinore Clift do when they push too far and things break loose? Do they understand what they are doing?

In a word? No. They will stand mouth agape at the reponses offered to their acts of treason.
