(CNN) -- New Jersey, one of the bluest states and where President Barack Obama won 58.3% of the vote in November's presidential election, is poised to re-elect Chris Christie, the state's incumbent Republican governor, this fall.
Having been deeply engaged in New Jersey politics since his youth, Christie seems to relish his role as one of the nation's most powerful and prominent governors. Yet many are wondering whether Christie's popularity in the Garden State has come at the expense of his presidential prospects.

Christie is simply what, in most states, would be considered a conservative Democrat. SUre, it’s great that he has no truck with union goons, for example.
But anyone who attacks the GOP House for failing to pass the Sandy Emergency Relief bill that was 2/3 pork, instead of attacking the liberals who PUT the pork in it, is a Democrat inside. Similarly, his full body hug of Obama after Sandy — instead of a polite handshake — shows his true leaning.
The election numbers in the article were for NJ, not the nation as a whole.
Were your numbers for NJ or National numbers? I was refering to National numbers.
