An AR-15 or Mini-14 firing 223 ammo from an extended magazine would have probably saved them from those painful and extended anti-rabies treatment.

Expect an executive order in the morning banning bobcats.
And rabies.

They managed to pin a rabid bobcat to the ground?! Wow. It's amazing what Americans can do.
Sorry the guy has to get the shots. But he'll have great scars and a story for the grandkids.

Oh yeah. He keeps his man card and gets a 'story' punch on his ticket.

Wow!
Normally the only way you could get attacked by a Bobcat is if you were fast enough to run and catch it.
We caught one in our big humane trap last year...it was WILD! I suspect it was what had been pilfering chickens.
BTW.. look at the interesting Bobcat image my friend caught with his game camera.

I have to say that of all the wild animals I’ve ever encountered, bobcats make me the most uneasy. They just aren’t afraid of people.
