Police in one Atlanta community are taking extraordinary measures to deal with heightened rates of violent crime – the unleashing of armored vehicles capable of withstanding bullets fired from AK-47s.
Originally reported by WSB Atlanta, police are using an armored vehicle normally used by SWAT teams to battle a series of burglaries and home invasions in a south Fulton County neighborhood.

I wouldn’t go into those areas WITHOUT an armored vehicle. So I have some sympathy here.
Dig a pit
Fill will fuel
Cover with debris
Beast drives over/into it
Light fuel
Add sauce
These things may protect those inside of it from gun fire, but if it gets bogged down in a flaming pit, it becomes a dutch oven. They have to flee at some point or get cooked like a roast.
I wonder how it performs after all for run-flat tires have been burned off.

But we've got black uniformed SWAT teams with masks and heavy weaponry.
We have cops with armored vehicles.
We have drones.
We have no-knock raids on private residences -- sometimes with no warrant.
We need to recognize that we are an occupied country. The fact that the oppressors aren't wearing bright red uniforms this time seems to be confusing the sheeple, who think that this is all just good fun.
Of course, it still takes 20plus minutes to get to you. Bang, you’re dead unless armed.
