I don’t really think Obama has much of a problem now that the electorate is made up primarily of ‘takers’ combined with those working for the destruction of the constitution.
He was supposed to get his butt kicked in the House and Senate last year wasn’t he? Let’s not start counting chickens just yet.
I’m not falling for this again. The DemocRATS run the elections in America. They’ll do just fine. Probably pick up a few more seats. Until we have comprehensive election reform in this country, opponents to the commie ‘RATS don’t stand a chance.
Actually, it may be that some states are looking to convert a Democrat Senatorship over to a Republican....most likely in a state that teeters between entitlement and some sense of propriety and decency.
That really isn’t my concern here in Georgia now. I’m about, all about, getting rid of these two no-ball RINO bastards we have here - Isakson and Chambliss. I will support their opponents in a same-party primary, but I’ve already told both of them I’m going to even vote for their Democrat opponent if I have to ......I’m doing this because they just won’t listen. They love the trappings of their DC second-tier power and just lie and equivocate and fence-sit when talking to us here at home.
They’re out, if I can help it. I would vote for a Zell Miller Democrat over either of them any day of the week.
The war will be over by Christmas.
I’ve heard this all before...
Seriously?
The GOP are the ones with the bigger problem. They had one of the best chances to take Senate seats in 2012 and they blew most of them.
All the Dems have to do is continue what they are doing — and blaming Bush is still working for them.
“I would vote for a Zell Miller Democrat over either of them any day of the week.”
So would I, but they are extinct apparently.
The GOP is the mirror image of the DNC.
They deceive and lie (Scott Brown),
they backstab their own candidates (Mr. RomneyCARE),
they help the DNC (Boehner),
and they spend endlessly money we do not have
as they DARE to impose Laws for Americans
other than themselves.
I’d say that any Democrat that doesn’t poll on the win side for Fulton, City of Atlanta, or Dekalb side is a Democrat I’d take a serious look at.
Our hopes lie in people not splitting their votes & reelecting Dem senators for seniority sake.
Damn ticket splitters in 2012 in MT, ND, WVA ( as well as IND, MO )
By 2014 the election fraud will be beyond Venezuelan efforts. Senate and House races will be heavily pressured and there will be NO Republican opposition or even complaint evem as the vote fraud will be more overt than any time since Tammany.
I read an interesting take on mid-term elections about a month ago. The author’s thesis was that, during Presidential elections, coverage is totally dominated by the National Media which are obviously 100% in the tank for the communist. This causes national coverage of major Congressional races with the same bias.
Mid-term elections, on the other hand, are dominated by local and state media and the national media play a MUCH smaller role. At the statehouse and Congressional level, we have a much better chance.
I hope the author is correct.
Romney is out of the picture, and this is a mid-term election, that means the tea party and Palin will have more sway, which means we do better.
I don't expect the direction of legislation or governance to change one bit, either way.
Probably one of the best opportunities the Republicans have to turn an entire state is West Virginia. But the candidate they picked would have to be a real orator. Since the vile Jay Rockefeller is retiring, they should put up a whole slate of Republicans to replace him, so that in the primary they would hold debates all over the state.
It’s actually a trick, because they would, by mutual agreement, spend only 10% of each of their time running against each other, and 90% trashing the Obama and the Democrats as the party that wants to *destroy* West Virginia.
The idea is not to damage each other, but that the winner gets Rockefeller’s seat, and the other contenders go for the most powerful state offices.
2014 will be a rout of Repubs. They will become politically irrelevent after 2014 ... especially if one ... only ONE ... Repub goes along with ANY gun control vote.
Had difficulty reading after “growing cleavage”.....
1st thing that needs doing is for the conservatives to oust a whole passel of RINO crappola in their primaries.
