Stupid yes/no/assault choice. It depends on the laws.

Latest results. This is like voting in a blue city. You can vote as many times as you want to.

U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla.

"As the father of four young children, I was deeply saddened by the murder of innocent kids at Sandy Hook. In the aftermath of this terrible tragedy, I expressed my hope that President Obama and our elected leaders would take a sober look at how we can prevent such heinous murders in the future. Doing so would require addressing the underlying causes of these evil acts, and keeping guns out of the hands of criminals and the mentally ill without curtailing the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens.

Nothing the President is proposing would have stopped the massacre at Sandy Hook. President Obama is targeting the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens instead of seriously addressing the real underlying causes of such violence. Rolling back responsible citizens' rights is not the proper response to tragedies committed by criminals and the mentally ill. Making matters worse is that President Obama is again abusing his power by imposing his policies via executive fiat instead of allowing them to be debated in Congress. President Obama's frustration with our republic and the way it works doesn't give him license to ignore the Constitution.

Guns are not the problem; criminals with evil in their hearts and mentally ill people prone to violence are. Rather than sweeping measures that make it harder for responsible, law-abiding citizens to purchase firearms, we should focus on the root causes of gun violence and keep guns out of the hands of criminals and the mentally ill.

As a strong defender of the Second Amendment, I will oppose the President's attempts to undermine Americans' constitutional right to bear arms."

I believe that we should pass a law that requires any person convicted of 2 or more felonies to be immediately executed and cremated. We should make the law retroactive.

This would lower ALL crime in America and especially gun crimes. This would also save state’s billions of dollars. Prison populations would plummet. Several politicians would have to be replaced as well, but hey, think of all the good that would come of the law. Think of all the kids that would benefit from the law.

Next we could make 3 or more divorces a felony. Missing child support could be made a felony. We could make anyone that takes a certain % of benefits from government for too long a felony. If you are found to be mentally ill, you’re a felon. Too many speeding tickets, late payments on debt, taxes, lying.... all felonies. These “common sense” solutions would affect a great many improvements in this country.

We need to start applying liberal strategies to conservative ideas.

(Don’t even bring up the consitutionality of my proposal. The constitution has nothing to do with this anymore.)

We just need to do the following:

1. Make it easier for all law abiding citizens to carry if they choose to.

2. Stop all of this stupid talk about assault weapons. Automatic Firearms are already illegal.

If there is ever a civil insurrection in this country, I want to live next door to the folks who have so called assault weapons and know how to use them.

This “poll” is a joke. There is no logical answer available as it lacks specifics on what we’re supposed to be supporting.

>>Would you support new laws to crack down on gun violence in the United States?<<

By all means - YES!

We must reign in the BATF, Homeland Security, Unconstitutional programs like Fast and Furious and local law enforcement quasi-military, over-the-top SWAT actions against citizens.

"Would you support new laws to crack down on gun violence in the United States?"

Read what this says...look at how it is worded.

Who is FOR gun violence?

This poll is designed to say something other than what you/we believe it is intended to say.

The new laws are anti-gun, not anti-violence.

I will not participate in this poll.

Would you support new laws to crack down on gun violence in the United States?
Yes
No
Only on assault weapons

What a dumbass question!...Of course we all oppose gun violence but these laws are going to do nothing to stop it!
The question should be:
Would you support new laws to crack down on gang violence in the United States?

One thing conservatives don’t do is attack the Liberals when they say things that are true. If they can’t use the regular media go to Fox News but get on TV.
