The CEO of Whole Foods compared President Obama's health care law to "fascism" in a radio interview on Wednesday, a turnabout from earlier comments in which he compared the signature reforms to socialism.
"Technically speaking, it's more like fascism," John Mackey told NPR's Morning Edition.

Have you noticed the full court press being applied in the media concerning “gun control”. Even somed on FOX they don’t get it, they simply do not understand what these people actually are.
But some of us do.
For those who wonder about the definition of fascists....it’s a political philosophy or movement....that generally puts the nation or society ahead of that of the individual. You can’t run such a gov’t without a dictatorial type leader, and in 100 percent of all cases (history always prevails)...there’s always a severe economic situation that erupts and drains the pocketbooks of everyone. This generally punishes not only the individual, but society itself in the end. Society is nothing....without the success of the individual.
If anyone can find a country that survived a fascist period and flourished economically....I’d like to hear about it. But so far....none ever flourish.

Yep, his customer list contains a lot of yuppies. Most of them don’t have a clue about this mess. He would be in a good place to actually impact that group.
He was on Greta last night and he articulated why capitalism is a good thing in a logical, calm rational manner. If Greta has the interview posted it would be a must see. The best part is the second half.

Not always. We shop there often — food is just good (food bar is most excellent) and a great place to go if you need gluten free, speciality foods, supplements, etc.
Liberals don’t LIKE capitalism, but they NEED capitalism to fund their ridiculous programs ... in other words, they are DEPENDENT on it.
Kind of like disrespectful, lazy teenagers who rely on their fuddy duddy old dad when they need money or to borrow the car, but otherwise smart him off most times. They’re juvenile that way.
Or to distill it down even further, Whole Foods doesn’t have food stamp customers: they must actually compete for actual cash: food stamp nation can’t afford to shop there.
Mackey has been damaged by the Dept of Agriculture.. ironic since WF’s product lines seek improvement of national agricultural processes.

I like Whole Foods; but we live too far from there to justify driving there too often. So, we shop closer to home; Dollar General Mkt., Kroger, and Walmart. The last time I was in Whole Foods, the produce, meats, breads, everything, looked great. The best chicken I’ve ever had was organic. - Husband poo-poos organic for the most part; but has mellowed somewhat over the years.
